"Large hotel in Douglas Co Cork. It was busy with social functions but due to being on the 5th floor I wasn't impacted by noise. Hotel room was clean but corridors and shared areas were dated and a bit shabby in places"

"Pros: Very easy to get to from airport (walk or free shuttle). Very kind staff! Clean facilities. Spacious room. Cons: Did not find the beds very comfortable (very springy). A bit outdated. "

"I am 75 years old; a solo female traveler. I tell it like it is to save others a hard time. I have nothing bad to say about ReZz. For bus or train travelers it's a great location. for paddywagon tours it's a great location. Friday night it was noisy but quiet by midnight. A small price to pay. As stated it is tiny- don't try putting two in one room. But it is so well thought out there is a light under the bed where your suitcase goes. Can't beat that."

"The Metropole is a historic hotel. The downstairs/lobby/restaurant areas were beautiful. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Within walking distance of everything in Cork. We also visited Kinsale from there which was great, but wished we had stayed there for a quieter experience. Good restaurants and a great wine bar close by. "

"Right downtown and near pubs, restaurants, shopping centre, and the major pedestrian shopping streets. The stairs up can be as much as 5 flights, old and narrow. City noise is prominent but you are choosing this place for the location right downtown. Staff was very friendly. No onsite breakfast but it’s because you have so many restaurants nearby.
