Matige service
Very noisy hotel. If you are coming with kids or older family best to avoid. We were on 5th floor and heard music blaring all night long, beds are comfy however and beautifully decorated room. Noise is the only complaint everything else was great.
Si vous prévoyez dormir n'y mettez pas les pieds. La musique du bar au rez et dans la rue résonne dans tout l'hôtel. Personnel pas serviable, la chambre n'a pas été faite pendant notre séjour.

No towels In the room so had to wait for them to be sent to the room which took a few hours so missed our reservation for our meal! Had to get a take away. £50 deposit still not refunded to my card and didn’t sleep at all due to noise in the hotel, it is situated in the middle of a lot of bars but this wasn’t the noise it was from other residents finally went quiet around 7am so also missed breakfast due to noise cost of room started off at £170 but ended up paying £260 for a breakfast I never had and a deposit that hasn’t been returned there was no issues with the room for the deposit not to be returned all on all don’t think I’ll be back
Lovely couple of nights at Epic on Seel Street. A great location for most things in the city. The hotel is in a lively nightlife area so can be noisy. Our room was clean with nice quirky decor. Would definitely stay again.
Situation. Within walking distance to all attractions. A little outside noise on Saturday night but enjoyed our stay.

There is a nightclub on the bottom floor of the hotel that does not stop playing music until 0300 each morning. The shower did not drain well and was standing water for 30 minutes after a 5 minute shower. The hotel lost $100 of covid tests that we needed to stay in the UK, as well as go home. The staff were friendly and doing the best they could, but I probably would not stay here again unless I had to.
The hotel room was beautiful and very modern and close to nightlife and town centre.
The downsides are only one pillow each on the bed.
Unable to lock the door when doorcard is in for the lights, we had 2 people walk into our room in the moddle of the night.
The rooms are very hot without the radiator turned on.
Having to park the car in a car park which cost us at extra £20.
We found the Seel/ Epic a really nice place to stay, check in was quick and easy, you do have to leave a deposit of £50 while your there which you get back into your account in a few days which can catch you out, I think they should put this point in high lighted text so you don't just browse past it, anyway I definitely would recommend this hotel, and a killer break6for £10 per guest is a great start to this busy city.....
Hotel in itself easy to find with a Qpark right around the corner which we found very handy.
When checking in, the hotel takes a £50 deposit, additionally to room charges, which isn't y mentioned anywhere prior to booking, still waiting for that to be refunded.
Never book a cinema room, its unbearably loud, it feels like the room is constantly vibrating, because of the constant bass from the music in the hotels bar/club area which goes on until past midnight even on a Sunday (another thing they fail to mention on the booking website!!) Additional to that, the telly in the room is huge yes, but completely none functional unless you watch bbc1 constantly. Also we arrived to the room with no linen, no pillows and one towel.
Thankfully we were able to get moved up to the 4th floor were it is a lot quieter but still noise can be heard from the "club" and also the other rooms as the walls are quite thin.
Aside from that the bed is comfortable and the showers are nice.
Arrived at 2.30, soaked after a downpour walking from the station only to be told come back at 3 because the room isn't ready. Came back at 3 to be welcomed with a massive queue at reception when previously there was none.
Despite asking for a room with a view (the higher the better) we were put on the first floor with a view of the backside of the hotel.
Later on that evening after a bite to eat we returned to our room to find out that we were directly above the hotel bar/club and the thumping base was horrendous.
Oh well I live in a city along a main road so I'm used to the noise, I'll just pop some earplugs in, it's Saturday let them party, Sunday won't be so bad.
Sunday was worse, R&B night apparently, at one point it was even rattling a glass in the bathroom, earplugs in and I can still hear that racket (I'm more of a D&B fan)
Anyhow bottom line is......
If you're coming here to relax, FORGET IT !

The room wasn't serviced fully, it still had to get clean linen, the duvet was disgusting and stained and looked like the pillow slips hadn't been changed. We were given the option to move to an appartment, we weren't told it was offsite, 10 minute walk in the worst rain showers this year which resulted in all our clothing, as well as our change of clothes in suitcases, being soaked. The duty manager Mike/Michael tried to accomodate, but not the greatest 240 miles travel from home for a weekend break to be honest. It was a £200 a night room...hmmm.
Very slick (30 minute early) check in and good large room in a great location. Would stay again.

Don't expect a god nights sleep!
Nice hotel, very central but would have appreciated being told on check in that there was a night club on the ground floor, we were on the 3rd and could hear music until at least 2am. A lot of noise in the corridors as well during the night. Might be suited better to a younger traveler.
It’s very central, in hindsight too central as you are on top of some very loud bars and clubs (including the hotel itself). The crowd this attracts at the weekend tend to be loud and drunk, banging doors, knocking on wrong ones at all hours etc. Rooms don’t have air conditioning and end up just being too hot. Rooms look good / modern. There are no robes/slippers or stocked mini bar and they require a security deposit presumably for the crowd they attract but not for the mini bar as it’s empty. Still waiting for deposit refund over 1 week later.. nothing special that would make me return here to this one.
Our first disappointment was as soon as we first entered the room, where we found multiple hairs (not ours) in between the bedding and the duvet. We were in a massive rush to get out to a concert that night, that we only notified the hotel once we returned - which they weren’t happy with and said ‘well you’re not moving rooms so what do you want me to do’. I explained I wouldn’t normally complain but with covid it makes me worried what else hasn’t been cleaned. So the man on the desk reluctantly changed our bedsheets.
Both nights we barely slept due to the club upstairs with booming music and as we were in a basement ‘cinema’ room - we were directly below the noise and the constant squeaky floorboards with people dancing in the club. I get it’s a city centre hotel - but perhaps some warning that there is a club upstairs would have been nice.
The room has no ventilation, but a dirty looking fan which we didn’t want to use - so we were very hot through the night (in November). The rest of the room was okay - not clean (the coffee machine looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was purchased). The bathroom drains smelt terrible, and when you flushed the toilet or ran the tap it made a very loud noise.
Oh and considering it is a cinema room - charging £7 to rent one movie is outrageous.
Overall really disappointed considering it was, what I would consider, very expensive.
