"Wish I was staying more nights at the Dakota. Will def check it out again when I am in Edinburgh. Everything about the hotel was top notch. Molton Brown toiletries, yummy cookies and tea/coffee, linen exceptional, front desk and all staff courteous and helpful. I didn't use the restaurant or bar but it looked posh. The best thing is, if you need to get to or from the airport, they have a pickup and drop off service. Make sure you walk down into Queensferry (10 minutes from the hotel). It's beautiful with lovely restaurants and shops as well as history and a view that is not to be missed. Also the lovely shaggy dog statue as you arrive in the hotel warmed my heart. Being a dog lover it was welcoming and whimsical."

"Rooms were spotless . Staff was incredibly helpful and polite. Grounds were very well maintained along with the hotel and restaurants. Highly recommend including the breakfast with your stay. Short drive into town. Alot of shops and cafes. Edinburgh castle is a must see. Short train ride into stirling."

"The hotel itself was excellent and clean. Unfortunately there was no hand towels and due to a lot of students that time we stayed, it was very loud, noisy, banging of doors and even knocking to our room. The staff were very kind and accommodating. They don’t charge for leaving your luggage even you haven’t check in and no charge too even you check out. The room is spacious but there was only one chair."
