"Room not cleaned properly. Housekeeping gave 1 set of towel instead of 2 during one of the cleaning sessions. Phone in the room no longer working. Was told that they are doing away with the phone. Bathroom floor sounds when steps."

"From arrival to departure- this was a great stay. The staff were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful on arrival; always smiling and chatty. The grounds and gardens are very nice to walk around. The pool and leisure club are easy to access. All very clean and tidy. Again staff in the leisure club were brilliant. There’s a cosy wee bar left of reception, which does a cracking pint. Breakfast was fantastic, the staff very friendly and welcoming. They got everything spot on, and it was one of the nicest hotel breakfast experiences I think we’ve had. Local area is great for access to Edinburgh and shops/restaurants. Charging in car park is easy to use through app and trouble free. We are coming back as soon as we can!"

"Had a lovely stay at Goose Cottage. We were met on arrival by Lisa who was very helpful with advice about the cottage and local area. She also went to the trouble of looking for local EV chargers for us, which was much appreciated. The cottage had everything that we needed and a nice welcome pack. The creaking stair case made nocturnal trips downstairs interesting but wouldn’t put us off returning. Great location for getting around, The Kelpies and Queensferry only around 30 minutes away by car and Edinburgh is a short train journey which was cheaper than paying for parking. Would happily stay at Goose Cottage again."

"Apartment was spotlessly clean, beds are comfy and the host was exceptional. Stayed here for the Edinburgh tattoo which was only 30 mins away by car, 15mins by train. A perfect base for sightseeing in Edinburgh and beyond. Quality bedding and towels. Can highly recommend!"
