"Location is goo right near the train station and royal mile. Room was clean and comfortable. Good value for the price. Breakfast was a good buffet spread but pretty expensive at 18 pounds per person. The elevators were down while we were there and we did see some questionable characters in the lobby at night, but for the elevator and stairs it required a room key. The door did close a bit slowly behind you when taking the stairs unless you pulled it shut. "

"No tea and coffee in the room. We called reception and had to call again after one hour of waiting for it, even then it didnt get delivered to the room. "

"My stay was lovely. I had a well appointed room. The staff was very kind and assisted me in getting a slippers and robe for the pool. I loved the Starbucks in the bar area. Room service was prompt and lovely."
