A short walk across the bridge and you're in fashionable Chelsea.
Bus stops right outside and a five minute walk to both Queenstown road and Battersea Park stations.This is ideal for those coming in via Gatwick Airport.
Shops and restaurants are around the corner.
The park is home to a small children's zoo, a boating lake, a bandstand, and all-weather outdoor sporting facilities including tennis courts, a running track and football pitches. From yoga to just walking the dogs, Battersea Park is truly an oasis in Central London.
In the centre of the park is Pump House Gallery, which is housed in a four story grade I listed Victorian tower.This is a must visit for those interested in Contemporary Art. The Affordable Art Fair takes place once per year in Battersea Park as does the Decorative Arts and Antique Fair.
