The staff there are amazing and I found it very decent for the price. The breakfast is very good, although the options are not that much. However it’s a really good value for money. Plus the location is very good, about 3-5 mins walk from the Elizabeth line which connects you to Central London. I loved my stay and would definitely stay again.

Customer service from the reception team was excellent. They helped me to find a parking space for free and we're generally very respectful and polite. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Negatives: Couple of the lights weren't working and the walls were thin so could hear noise from other guests. Parking was very limited but as mentioned, staff were very helpful - make sure you ask for advice at reception before paying for anything on Ringo!

Great Base

The Best Western at Ilford was a great hub and so close to The Elizabeth Line. There were some great local amenities close by too. The Hotel itself is run down furniture wise in the bedroom we had but I could not fault the cleanliness of the room. It’s a shame no hairdryer was provided or low lighting by way of lamps as our room was described as an executive suite and it was a little cold and damp to start with but did get toasty warm in the end ☺️

Get a good deal

Getting the room for 60 pounds with breakfast is good deal but two days before my trip up to 120 pounds the Saturday premium would not of been good ok plenty of choice for breakfast

Room was adequate, clean and beds were comfortable. Great to have a proper hairdryer too! Staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast offered a good selection of cold/hot buffet options and there was always hot water for showers. Biggest negative is the bathroom - it was a tiny narrow sink with a glass shelf directly above it. This made it really challenging to get your head above the sink it brush your teeth or wash your face. It would be far better to move the shelf to the side instead. The cleaning staff didn’t replenish the tea making facilities so there was nowhere near enough sugar or milk.

3 Nights at Ilford

Excellent place not far from the main public transport system, Ilford train station about 10minute walk away. The hotel is very clean, the location is quiet and fairly calm with shops around. The staffs were excellent, friendly, supportive and responsive. My room was small, the shower "cabin /cubicle " quite uncomfortable if you are a larger person you would struggle to bend to rub your feet, some disturbances from neighbours rooms with their alarms going off and easily audible... Tv has no Netflix (did not find one, i may be wrong on this). Room may need a small fridge in for short term preservation of fridge items if on longer stay. Overall, a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it.

Room was small but expected it to be .. sliding door on bathroom means not private. Hair clip by bed and dust and fluff by bedside cabinet so appeared clean in main areas but missed areas Noise from other rooms loud Breakfast is a no no .. yogurts not kept chilled week out of date .. Not full English but a take on it not served very hot. Rock hard stale croissants and a flask of ready made tea stewed at 6am Did report .. staff seemed happy to try and help but these things should not happen in first place.

I would give this hotel a passing grade. The location is convenient — only a 3-minute walk to Ilford Station — and the front desk staff are very friendly. However, the building is quite old, and noise travels a lot. You can clearly hear footsteps from the hallway and the room above, so if you’re a light sleeper, this might not be ideal. Housekeeping was also disappointing. They didn’t provide shampoo or soap, even after informing reception, and the bedding wasn’t changed for days — just folded. Garbage was removed, but that was about it. Overall, the stay was okay, but if you can find another hotel in the area for a similar price, I would recommend choosing that instead.
