No contact at all with another human while I was there! Entry instructions were clear, the entry and stairs would be tight for really large bags. The public areas seem run-down, but the room and bathroom were nicely done. My room was facing the street, and the noise might bother some people, tho it quieted down around midnight. The temp was fine and the window opened, but there’s no a/c so I expect it would be quite hot in the summer. Closest tube stop from Heathrow was the Piccadilly line to Russell Square;0 Euston is also pretty close.

I found the self check in entry difficult, the small vestibule was very awkward & too small, struggled to get in with just my 1 suitcase. Other than that the room was fine, a little noisy at times from people moving about, but the bed & pillows were comfy enough for a decent sleep.

I had a query about leaving our luggage, as the website said you can leave luggage during reception hours. However, check out is 10am and reception doesn't open until 11am. I phoned twice, left text and WhatsApp messagea and nobody ever got back to me!

Great location, close ti russell square and kings cross so easy to get back to late at night. We had a large room in the basment so was lovely and cool at night. Large shower, fridge and coffee maker in room. Only downsides were that the shower head didn't fit properly into the holder, but it was still useable. Also the bathroom door was a slide across one and ofetn got stuck. But otherwise the room itself was great and wouldn't put me off staying there due to the size of the room.

The room was very clean and fully furnished, the maid man is good but the reception was never showed up during the opening hour, we had to wait for more than half an hour. There were another two guests waiting too. We had tried several times to get the receptionist by phone. This was the first time I have ever met this kind of hotel reception.

As a seasoned traveller I fell for the pictures on the website when booking !! What an absolute disappointment of a property, put in the basement room which wouldn’t have looked out of place in a horror scene. Dim lighting , awful second hand bedding, lumpy second hand mattress, bathroom slide door wouldn’t budge , rusty holder for shampoo and shower gel .What a depressing place .The photos I have uploaded do not tell the story .

Nonesense- do not be fool with online photos. Completely different. Unsafe amenity. Manager said safebox code is 0000 and you can not change it!!! Really???!!! What what is a logic of having safebox? After I insisted, he agreed to change the code but he asked me to give him the code to change it after we leave. Excellent security!!! Never choose this place. Asked them to cleam the room but they did not do it until next day with my reminder again. Cleanning?! Really? Just emptied garbage and that’s it!

The room is super dirty. The cups there have disgusting stains. Thx toilet smelt. No noise proof at all. Heard people moving furniture or talking all night long.

Great value stay!

Great room for the cost. We had to contact the hotel to ensure accessibility and were instantly retooled to the ground floor family room which had plenty of room and a big shower. The only downside and it wasn’t really, was the beautiful original sash windows that we could open, didn’t keep much noise out so the foxes woke us up at 2am!! Really not an issue!!

The only thing that was good and easy was the check in. The room looks absolutely nothing like the pictures. When I got to the room, the window was wide open and was difficult to close. There was a slight smell of mould in the room. The bed linen was dirty and some of the furniture was already broken (the door handles on the wardrobe in the bathroom were missing and the drawers on the desk wouldn't stay closed).
