I like the area and surrounding shops . But I think it is totally unacceptable to be waken up on 2 successive nights (16 & 17 February) by a false fire alarm and have to run down the stairs and out in the street in cold weather

This is a nice property in a nice area of London. I've stayed here a few times. I would recommend however that the Gloucester underground station be avoided if you dislike climbing stairs. It used to have a lift, which is important if you arrive with luggage from the airport.

Room tissue box was never filled. Cleaning of the room didn’t take place until after 3p. Fire alarm went off in Sunday morning at 0618 and kept going off approximately 6 more times for about 15 min.

Didnt get expedia upgrade until the last night of the 3 stayed! They said the hotel had try to contact me on day 2 0f 3 ...they didnt try very hard..no phone call! When upgraded the room was an adjoining room and the neighbours were so loud i requested thehotel put us back in our original room. The staff were good though.
