The property itself was easy to locate, was close to the station, as well as being an short 10 minute walk to several night life options. The room was typical of a charming townhouse room - not very spacious but sufficient for a nights stay.
The door did not feel very secure or safe - it got stuck while trying to open it and despite having two locks, the same key opened both locks which I feel defeated the object of having the two locks.
The bed looked comfortable enough, was clean and nicely dressed. The double bed was two twins pushed together, which is normally just fine, however, one of the mattresses had sunk in the middle while the other was level which made quite uncomfortable sleeping.
The shower, whilst clean and tidy, was disappointing. Not only was the water pressure nonexistent, there was only enough hot water for a 3 minute rinse and then after that the only running water was cold and through the tap.
I understand this place was cheap for the location, however it was not exactly a low budget price tag.
All in all, I wouldn’t rush back here but it sufficed for a night.
