Wonderful hotel, great location and decor

The hotel was beautifully decorated. Excellent service. Good size room and wonderful bath/shower. The only thing that prevented me giving 5 stars was that it was very warm and didn’t seem possible to reduce the heating system below 18.5 degrees.

Lovely property very clean and good access to London . £250 deposit taken for a 2 night stay was quite a lot. They also have a service charge they add on at the end - although it’s discretionary this isn’t made very clear.

If the rate was not so expensive, the score might be different. The bathroom door did not shut, the range of tv channels was poor, the bed/pillows were uncomfortable and there were side panels, along with the telephone, which had lights on throughout the night. The furnishings are undeniably lovely and the location for Liverpool Street is perfect - however, I just do not think it is worth the high price.

Can not fault the service.

Most of the rooms dont have smart tvs, so was very kindly upgraded. Great service. Prompt house keeping. The manager was lovely. Ordered room service, was a very good roast. Thank you for a great stay. I hope the hotel upgrades the tvs soon. Im booking again in a month lol

I emailed beforehand to get a bouquet of flowers in the room for my wife they never appeared. The TV system is awful, tardy furnishings. However for the price its great value for money and great amenities around

Customer service charge was unexpected

The hotel itself was okay but the front desk was unclear in what charges were being held. And tried to charge a service charge without explaining it or it's use. Feels like false advertising and would have appreciated if they didn't do that, got it taken off in the end, but that made the stay feel unhospitable.
