"Our room was located near the supply area so every morning the housekeeping staff would gather by our door and talk very loudly."

"We stayed for two nights and three days at this location. The location in itself was amazing but we had issues with AC in the room. The temperature remained at 77° and was very hot throughout the night. We called in at the front desk at the middle of the night, we did have a visit from one of their staffs, at 12:30 at night but couldn’t figured out the AC situation. We left the bathroom window open and tried our best to lower the room temperature. AC was set to 61° but overall temperature of the room didn’t drop lower than 76° all night. In addition our room got cleaned next day but coffee cups and coffee pods were not available for the second morning of the stay. Before we checked out, we let the front desk staff know about all those issues but haven’t heard anything back. Great location for stay but AC is not working, room amenities not being restocked/available, and not hearing from the management team after providing feedback, I would have to rethink before I recommend someone to stay here."

"Hotel location is perfect, room was very clean, above average bedding & towels, comfortable bed. On site parking limited but accessed a spot each night. Breakfast continental, yet plenty. Coffee very good. Attendant in breakfast room was helpful & pleasant. "

"Reasonable rate in Carmel area but the room has old smell and you can hear your neighbors talking, flushing, and walking. Couldn’t sleep. "

"So disappointed especially for the price. It’s like a run down motel 6 inside the rooms. The bathroom had mold and the shower was from 1950s. We just wanted to leave. "

"We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to enjoy Pebble Beach, Carmel, and the Big Sur coastline. The house was timeless and charming, blending perfectly with the natural beauty of this area. It truly felt like a step back in time. During our short stay, we saw an abundance of wildlife with hummingbirds, deer, sea otters and owls all visible from the front porch. The ocean vista, flora and landscaping were equally inspiring and relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were all spacious, private, and comfortable. Early mornings were spent enjoying a cup of coffee (after a 1 minute walk) overlooking the Lone Cypress, while we spent the nights star gazing and talking in front of the fire pit feature outside. The location is second to none. I strongly recommend this unique and memorable housing experience!"
