"Carmel Country Inn was perfect. The staff were so friendly. The room was very comfortable and we loved all the amenities. We will be returning for another visit. "
"An absolute joy! Fantastic experience. We were concerned about bringing a toddler and disrupting other guest's stay but the hosts had plenty of books and things to keep her happy.
Wonderful food!

"Lovely location and sweet courtyard. Room was clean and comfortable though there was a leaking tub faucet. I was extremely disappointed with the level of noise that woke me up on vacation at 7:30am (or so)....lawn mowing or blowing, garbage pickup, etc. Is there no town noise ordinance near a luxury hotel?"

"“Old style” Hotel, right in the middle of town, so much to do and see. Great restaurants right next to the hotel, I chose to park across the street, in the public parking structure, easy in and out. The room was basic but clean, very small tv, clean sheets, bathroom was small but clean and nice. No complaints at all, it’s priced right, for what you get, in this area. "

"We were very pleasantly surprised
All the details of the hotel are great. The service was outstanding. Our basic room turned out to be much more spacious than expected. Very dog friendly too
Would happily stay again any time

"First we had tp pay to enter 17 mile drive, then we had to clean the outside table to enjoy the scenery, there was no wifi, no cable so therefor no tv. "
"Beautiful location along 17 Mile Drive with spectacular vistas. Surprisingly sunny weather with only modest June gloom. Worked well for our large family gathering including our grandchildren. The Castle was a favorite of our 6 year old granddaughter."
