"Huge bedroom, with two of the largest and most comfortable king sized beds I’d ever experienced. 55” TV in room. Had to hunt for the HD channels, but they’re there. Breakfast, was self-service buffet over the weekend and waitress served during weekdays. Every member of staff we encountered, were very pleasant and helpful. Jess, the part-time receptionist. Lenny, in the restaurant. Alison, the cleaner, who ran 50 yards to hand my brother the wallet he’d dropped. Didn’t use the pool or spa facilities, due to pressure on our time. Overall, would most definitely stay here again in the future."

"We stayed here for one night and were very impressed. We made use of the Leisure Centre. Make sure you book The Spa if you want to use their facilities. The Lakeside Bar area was very nice with a vast selection of spirits including alcohol free cocktails and bottled beer/cider. We went to the “Allo Allo” dining experience which was fab. We had a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed, then woke up and had a buffet Full English breakfast which also had a croissants gluten free muffins fruit and yoghurt. We would highly recommend this place."

"Great location for what I required from this trip. Hotel bright, clean and tidy, food and beverages not outrageously priced and a damn good breakfast that set me up for the day. Would totally recommend for short stay business trips."

Brilliant Stay

"Myself and 3 friends had a brilliant 2 day stay here.The staff are lovely - reception,cleaners,and the 2 wonderful young ladies on breakfast duty.My room ( 162) was large,comfortable and had a good view.We had dinner here first night and the service and food was first class.There is a leisure club which is free to enjoy if you stay here.The hotel is well placed for exploring Townley Hall and Pendle. The hotel also is ideal for get-together and weddings.Incredible value overall and 5* experience"

Lovely stay at the Maypole. Great staff.

"We arrived on a busy Friday night so had a drink in the pub and were invited to do a pub quiz which was good fun. The room was beautiful. Low ceilings but a good amount of space to move about. Very clean and also quiet so we had a good sleep. Breakfast served 08:30-09:30 which was perfect for us. Cooked breakfast or cereal. Basics but done well. Ideal really. The staff are all very friendly too and treated us both well. "

"Had an amazing stay here, when we arrived we were informed we were upgraded to a superior suite which was a lovely surprise. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. We wished we could have stayed a second night. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay 😀"
