"We really enjoyed our time at Entre Cerros. There were 7 of us in one cabin but with 2 bedrooms and a loft, there was plenty of room. The small kitchen was helpful. There was a coffeemaker and good coffee, although we really needed a larger water filter. Cookies were on the table when we arrived and firewood was placed beside the outdoor fire pit for our use. The restaurant was better than expected, both breakfast and dinner. Our waiter, Cesar, did a great job serving us and making it special....

"The included breakfast was well prepared every morning. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was always someone at the front desk, even during late night hours such as 1:30 am. Just be mindful that at those hours, you must ring the doorbell. Room and bathroom was clean. Would definitely recommend, even for solo travelers."

"This hotel is a bit more rustic than perhaps the profile shows. The staff are nice, rooms clean though quite dark, shower water is warm not hot. One important thing to note: if you have mobility issues, this is not the hotel for you. It’s a bit of a walk that tuktuks and cars cannot cover, and uneven stairs up a bit of a hill. They have a jacuzzi but it’s a bit expensive to use (200Qs for an hour)."

"Hotel/family house located in a safe area, however it was very difficult to find at the very beginning. The house is in an inner space, where guests have to walk through a narrow hall between two other houses. The is a sign on the light pole in the main street, however hard to be seen Juana was courteous and very friendly, same as other staff in the hotel. Room was clean, well organized and the distribution of bedroom, living room/office space and bathroom was good."

"This is an absolutely amazing boutique hotel. It is beautiful and right on the lake. We stayed in a suite with a balcony with incredible views. It is also very close to the park/nature reserve which was great. It is close to the dock to catch the boats to the other towns on the lake as well. We enjoyed the spa’s sauna and cold plunge and the food at the restaurant was very good. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We loved San Marcos and this hotel and would definitely stay here again."
