Springwood Cottage is a charming detached cottage situated half a mile from the small town of Louisburgh in County Mayo. This cottage sleeps nine people in four bedrooms, consisting of two ground floor doubles, one of which has an en-suite shower, a first floor double and a first floor family room with three single beds. The cottage also has a ground floor bathroom and first floor shower room, along with a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there's off road parking for two cars, roadside parking and lawned gardens. Springwood Cottage is a lovely base for exploring this part of the Emerald Isle.

A great holiday
Lovely, bright, clean accomodation. The house provided an ideal base for exploring beautiful Mayo. We enjoyed the 15 min walk into the village for shop, pubs and eating places. Would recommend The Country Kitchen for meals.

Haus ist schön ruhig gelegen,alles ist vorhanden-leider nicht immer im guten Zustand.
Das Haus macht einen ordentlichen Eindruck und die Besitzerin Donna war nett.Der Blumengruß und die Willkommenspräsente waren eine nette Überraschung zu unserer Freude.Leider war der Wäschetrockner defekt und wurde in unserem 14-tägigen Urlaub nicht repariert.Das war bei der feuchten Wetterlage ein schwieriges Wäschetrocknen für uns.Auch das Starterpaket für das Kaminfeuer fehlte (Im Angebot beschrieben). Die Küche mit Inhalt hat schon etliche Verschleißerscheinigungen.Hier müßte Hand angelegt werden!Das Gleiche gilt für die Duschen-hauptsächlich im unteren Bereich.Vielleicht noch eine Anmerkung an Donna-Im Kaminzimmer vorn bläst der Wind stark durch das Ausstellfenster,weil die Scharniere festgerostet sind und das Fenster nicht richtig schließt.Man kann dann dort im Sessel nicht sitzen.Trotzdem war unser Urlaub schön und wir werden wieder nach Irland kommen.
