"A good place for a short stay. The staff is very friendly. Room was clean and they welcomed our Shih Tzu. It is definitely more of a motel environment and the property is old and undergoing some renovations. If you have loud neighbors, you’ll have to sleep with an extra pillow over your head. "

"I recently stayed at this hotel over the weekend, and overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to answer any questions I had. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was especially cozy, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. I also appreciated the little details, like the quality toiletries, ample lighting, and convenient charging outlets. One of the highlights was the hotel’s amenities. The beach area was clean and relaxing, perfect for unwinding in the afternoon. Watch the sunset was amazing. The location was another big plus—close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions, making it easy to explore the area without needing to travel far. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the walls were a bit thin, and I could occasionally hear noise from neighboring rooms. However, it wasn’t enough to significantly impact my stay. Overall, I had a very enjoyable weekend at this hotel. The combination of comfortable accommodations, friendly service, and convenient location makes it a place I would definitely consider staying at a Drift Hotel "

"The room was spacious and had a feather bed that was almost too soft. A/C was good, and we really liked having a ceiling fan too. Shower was huge! But not a shelf or place to put a bar of soap or hang a washcloth. The laminate floors were very dirty, which we didn't notice until after taking showers and then getting into bed, had to get soap & water and wash them bedside, after that we just kept sandals on while in the room. The pool at Dockside (off site building) was wonderful and the pool at the main building was zero depth entry and oceanside and provided gorgeous sunset views! The on site restaurant was good and we had appetizers; drinks and breakfast there. Sadly we didn't use the offered kayaks; bikes; and paddle boards as we didn't have enough time! Still excellent to have them available to use. Highly recommend."

"Everything was lovely! Staff checked in daily via text which i think is a nice touch, the beach and pool areas were readily available with chairs and towels and our villa was so cute with everything you could need in a little kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast was from 6a-10a and it was what you'd expect plus a made to order omelette station. During the day they had someone there making a few select cocktails. The lobby also had most things you could probably need for purchase if you forgot something at home. Me and my husband went for our mini honeymoon and a nice little get away to the keys at chesapeake was also we could ask for."

"The apartment is a good size, but the cleaning needs improvement—especially sofa bed linens, which did not feel fresh.” Overall, the apartment is well-equipped and has everything you need. I would rate it four stars.”"

"Older resort and needs updating but for the three nights we stayed it was comfortable. Stayed in a studio which had a kitchen area with full fridge and the room was large with a nice balcony overlooking the water. With low tide and prevailing winds you do smell the mangrove but it did not hinder our stay in the room. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They had bikes available as well as (older) kayaks and a canoe. Chaise lounges in the pool area are not the most comfortable but it was still pleasant to spend time there. Skip Snappers next door and go to Snooks for a good meal. "
