If you choose another hotel, you made a big mistake! Staying at the Hotel San Marco is like staying with best friends. You are treated with kindness and warmth with friendly faces everywhere. We had a wonder visit.

Hidden gem just outside the town walls of Lucca
Absolutely loved our stay here! Reception and staff are fantastic, the hotel is spotlessly clean and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful few days after a manic two weeks in some of Italy's busiest tourist spots. Swimming pool and garden is like staying in a villa with the added benefit of waiter seervice. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastisk personale - venligt, serviceminded og imødekommende. Hotellet ligger lige ved den gamle by og der er ca. 5 min gang til bymuren. Hotel i rigitg fin stand og dejlige faciliter

An absolute gem!
An absolute gem of a hotel. Having stayed within the city walls of Lucca a few years ago, I was initially a bit apprehensive about staying a short walk outside. However, it proved to be the best of both worlds and Hotel San Marco was a delightful place to relax at the start and end of the day. Fantastic breakfast, spotlessly clean hotel and a lovely pool. Wonderful, kind and friendly staff, who gave us great recommendations and always had smiles on their faces. Thank you!

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful accommodations. Very helpful staff. One of the owners took the time to drive us to the train station to catch the train to Pisa. We didn't have enough time to walk and we would have missed the train without her help. A few hundred yards outside the wall and therefore easy to drive to. Surprisingly easy to drive in Lucca. All in all, a great property.

Consigliatissimo per tante cose
La struttura è a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro della città vecchia. Il personale alla reception è gentilissimo, accogliente e premuroso senza essere invadente. Le camere pulite e sufficientemente silenziose con bagni rinnovati e rubinetteria di design ( Gae Aulenti per essere esatti). La colazione a buffet ricca e con prodotti di qualità con le signore premurose e attente. Un albergo dove si respira un'aria molto accogliente.

Lovin’ Lucca
Located in a quiet neighborhood a short 7-minute walk to the historic center. The property has plenty of parking and is quite charming. The pool and patio would be a blast in summer and they serve craft beer and delicious wine. The room was comfortable and clean, though not flashy. The staff is super helpful and you can rent bicycles from the property. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous friendly spotlessly clean hotel in Lucca
A very friendly hotel, short 15 minute walk to centre of Lucca. Hotel staff were ultra helpful in every way and deserve an award for customer care. Lovely pool and in addition to the dining area inside, an outside area for drinks and food. Great air con and exceptionally clean. If you’re looking for a base for your visit to Lucca and area, then book it! Enjoy your stay
