"If you are looking for somewhere central this apartment is in the very centre of town and the Saturday market. It is not for those less able as there are 3 flights of stairs to the apartment. When you are at the front door the neighbours dog barks. We appreciate there is nothing that can be done about this. When in the apartment it was very clean although a bit tired and could do with some general maintenance. We were offered early check in which was good and communication was responsive and...

"Don’t judge a book by its cover! Although this apartment looks small and bland from the street, open the door and it’s a lovely, spacious, light filled place.I liked it very much. The furnishings were great and the decor colourful. It has a good shower room and the bedroom is a good size. It also has a very nice patio leading off the sitting/dining area. "Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was a definite highlight. A little tired on the decorative front with some attention to detail required but overall doesn't affect the stay. Rooms are comfortable only criticism is the doors slam which makes the corridors noisy at night, but that also has to do with other guests being a little more thoughtful to the environment. Swimming pool and steam rooms being accessible to all guests within the price is a real bonus and these were generally well maintained and clean. It was a good, comfortable stay, and we would visit again."

"I actually enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We had a classic double room and it was bigger than it looked in the photos. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed (hot drinks, Elemis shampoo, body wash). Some slight wear and tear on the furniture (warped side tables and desk) which is easily fixed and will make the room near perfect. The only issue we did have was this thinness of the walls and ceilings. We were woken by people walking in their room above us and could hear people using their toilet in the room next door/above. The breakfast was amazing. Lovely staff and quick ordering/service. Delicious coffee! Lots of nice options from the continental and the made to order breakfast. We did use the spa facilities but didn't have much time due to the nature of our stay. Nice and clean, warm pool. Robes and flip flops provided. We didn't have any treatments. I would stay here again!"

"Nice independent run hotel at about the level of a Holiday Inn. Rooms are an adequate size for two to share. Some of the exterior is it showing its age around the back facing on to the sports facilities which are apparently not maintained to a level to currently in use. Restaurant evening menu and bar have a wide selection of options, and the morning breakfast buffet has a good wide selection. There is also a range of good restaurants and pubs within a short distance if you don't want to use the on-site offering. Would I stay again? Yes."
