Duck Cottage - Sleeps 3

Duck Cottage - Sleeps 3

10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic cottage, felt very homely. Very well equipped, everything was carefully thought out for your comfort. The cake was an added bonus on arrival. Marked down on location, the views were good, as the cottage was more rural than expected and we had to travel miles just to get milk. Very peaceful, although we didn't see much wildlife apart from the geese flying over."

"We were a group of 17 friends having a 4 night stay at The Rookery to celebrate a big birthday. The Rookery exceeded our expectations and was a perfect location for us. It is fitted out to a very high standard and extremely well equipped. We really couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend."

"We have had a great week staying at Kingfisher Cottage; 12 people, 3 generations. The facilities were excellent. It was so nice to stay in a cottage with good quality pots and pans! We enjoyed all the walks from the cottage as well as the playing field, where our 92yr old grandpa was in goal and our 88yr old Nan Nan kicked the ball around. We loved the view from the side garden overlooking the reservoir, the table tennis table, the outdoor seating, lounge chairs and tables, as well as inside, the open plan kitchen and lounge. We had one wheelchair user with us who could enjoy the downstairs facilities and there was even a good walk from the house on the cycle lane number 45, that was good for a wheelchair especially one that is all terrain, but even the first part was tarmacked so you can still do a fairly good distance with a regular wheelchair. We have had a family holiday, for around 12 to 14 of us, for 26 years and we would say this one of the best houses that we have been to, for it's facilities and care taken to make the stay as best as it can be. Thank you, Dinney Farm"

"Had a lovely weeks stay at Clover Cottage. Very quiet and restful. It had everything you could need including a hot tub which was lovely after a days sightseeing. The big comfy bed was also a bonus. We found Jo, the owner, to be very helpful with her knowledge of the local area. All in all a wonderful break away and would have no hesitation in recommending Clover Cottage."

"We stayed at Cart Cottage to celebrate a family birthday. The Cottage had everything we needed and the boys loved the football field! Beautiful cottage, outstanding location, thankyou for everything! This is the second time we have stayed at The Dinney, and certainly won’t be the last - don’t tell everyone about it though as we want to secure future bookings ! Thankyou for a wonderful stay with great hosts x"

"What a lovely week I’ve had at this beautiful lodge, I don’t know where to start with how great the place was, it is perfect for time away to just relax and unwind, the lodge is equipped with high quality furniture and everything was provided that you would expect from a luxury lodge and more, we were definitely spoilt. We did rearrange the lounge furniture as it wasn’t making use of all the space we thought, we moved it back once we were leaving, we noticed our neighbours had moved their sofas too.The welcome supplies were very much appreciated, our dogs were even left treats too. I wanted to stay there forever. There’s only three lodges and if you wanted somewhere peaceful to go for a family gathering or even a girly weekend the lodges would be perfect.I have a special birthday coming up and I shall be booking this again and again and again."
