The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and affordable. It was nicely situated near a bus stop that made travel to the inner city easy.

Hotel Pax is a bus ride from the train station away from the old part of the city. The room was clean but wasn't a big room. The bathroom was ok but the shower overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Breakfast was satisfactory and plenty of continental options. There is a restaurant on site but we didn't use it and there is not much else around the area. There are a couple of main roads next the hotel which made it noisy and it also seems to be in the flight path for the airport.

Very good hotel with excellent staff
This hotel is very good. It has a very good location outside of the city center. But it has a bus stop (Neufchateau) in front so it's very easy to get to the city center. The staff was awesome. Everyone super friendly and helpful. We had to checkout very early in the morning. So they told us we could do the check out the day before. And since we were leaving before breakfast, they offer us to prepare a quick "to go" breakfast. It was something we didn't ask. They offered to prepare it and it was more than we would ask. Again, very good hotel and great staff. I would stay again. No doubt.

Good Value Hotel
Nice hotel a bit away from the city center. Standard, but good breakfast. Comfortable bed. We were given a room overlooking the main road and noise was not an issue. Only real complaint is the curtains did not fully block the light coming in from outside.

Clean hotel in noisy part of the city
Staff and room itself were very OK, breakfast as well. But the noise of traffic and planes was heavy. Plus airco was blowing heavy as well.

Friendly hotel with lively restaurant.
Friendly staff. Pleasant room, large bathroom. Very nice restaurant attached to hotel with attentive waiters. Much used by locals. Hotel about a mile or so from station but lots of buses. Only drawback is that hotel is on main road busy with traffic.

Hotel is clean, far from city center but has bus stop right in front to take you for about 2 euros one way. Train station is about 5 to 10 minutes via bus. Nice restaurant in hotel if you're interested. No iron in room but will provide upon request.

Super clean, well-run hotel
The hotel Pax was great. It was super clean, the room was bigger than I expected, and the staff was very kind and helpful. The free breakfast was nice - they had special touches like hot cocoa (which I don't usually see at free breakfasts), and also an orange juice squeezing machine so you can make fresh-squeezed orange juice. This hotel was also a great value. It is quite close to the train station (maybe a 15- or 20-minute walk). There are also a lot of buses on the main road, so I'm sure it must be possible to take a bus to the train station or town center. I ran to the town center in about 15 minutes, so that seems pretty close as well. If you come here with kids (especially in the warmer months), there is a fantastic playground in a network of lovely public parks that runs all around the town center. The playground has a life-size pirate ship (good for ages 3-12, probably), big tunnel slides (for 4 and up, probably), and an amazing water play area (with terraces and little rivers and shallow splashy areas perfect for ages 1-6). The hotel staff would be able to tell you exactly where the "pirate ship playground" is, or you could Google it.

bon hôtel mais passant
l'hôtel est bien, il est rénové, propre et en bon état le prix est correct il n'y a pas de parking mais des places gratuites pour la nuit à proximité si la route de Thionville permet d'aller rapidement à pleins d'endroit elle est très passante et ma chambre par conséquent bruyante, bref si ça vous gêne demandez une chambre qui donne sur l'arrière

Nicely located on the right side of the city when you come from France. Couple of restaurants nearby, especially a good sushi belt restaurant. Good hotel for a business trip but a bit tricky to find a parking place.

Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Das Badezimmer war sehr groß. Das Personal war freundlich. Wir konnten unproblematisch schon früher einchecken und unser Gepäck wurde nach dem Check-Out an der Rezeption aufbewahrt. Negativ war lediglich, dass das Hotel an einer vielbefahrenen Straße liegt und man den Lärm auch im Zimmer hört. Außerdem war das Essen zum Frühstück nicht immer warm. Ansonsten war das Frühstück aber lecker und ausreichend.

Das Zimmer war sauber, praktisch und ruhigf gelegen (aufgrund des Wochenendes war die davorliegende Schule nicht besetzt). Störend war, dass am Wochende die Rezeption erst ab 14:00 besetzt war, der Schlüssel aber bereit lag. Das Frühstück war einfach misserabel, insbesondere altes trockenes Brot und Backwaren.

Cet hotel mérite d'être connu car il est de grande qualité de part le niveau du professionnalisme de son personnel, des prestations offertes mais également par le fait qu'il dispose d'un excellent restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et très varié. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Très bon rapport qualité prix.
On annonçait "pas de réception" à cet hotel. C'est vrai que ce n'est qu'un bureau mais il y a un réceptionniste la plus part du temps. Par contre parking très restreint.

Vollkommen ok
Hatte sauberes, modernes und großes Zimmer im 3. Stock. Frühstücken geht, aber nix besonderes, sehr spartanisch. Typisch Luxembourg eher teuer als günstig. Würde wiederkommen.
