The staff was professional and courteous, always ready to help. There was some confusion at check in about breakfast options, but a couple of chats with the staff sorted it out. It seemed like some staff is new and still in training, perhaps due to staffing shortages and the change in hotel ownership from Jurys to Leonardo.
The room was satisfactory and clean, though seems well worn and the hotel is probably due for a refresh. The key card is required not only for the room, but also for the lobby elevators and public restrooms, but were finicky and often required multiple tries, which made entries sometimes frustrating.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Spire, which made it easy to find and navigate on foot, and I was able to get oriented easily. It's very close to many shops, cafes, and restaurants, and so made for a nice home base for sightseeing.
