Awesome, apart from the wasps
Amazing location! Great pool with astounding views. The rustic chic style of the place is gorgeous! The real surprise was the truly excellent food! Dinner was delicious!!! The only downside were the wasps. I know this is not really in their control. But I saw no attempt to deal with them. None of the guests could eat outside at breakfast. I understand the staff may be used to them, but the guests are absolutely not. I would go back for everything else, but the wasps would stop me from returning unfortunately.

Beautiful location with peaceful atmosphere
The location was an oasis with views people dream about. Additionally, the staff, Francesco and Ansel, went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. I had some special circumstances that required me to get to Solomeo at a certain time. Upon Francesco's suggestion, Ansel drove me personally, which was NOT something he had to do! I couldn't have made it as peacefully as I did without their generosity.

Honeymoon retreat
Overall we found this to be an ideal location for a honeymoon. It was very tranquil and restful place to stay with lovely views of Lake Trasimeno and the surrounding Umbrian countryside. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were very accommodating. The only problems we had were that the air-conditioning in the room was not working and we were also not aware that the pool would be closed until June.

Rural idyll
Very comfortable, peaceful hotel, at the end of a long uphill drive (beware of lumps and bumps on the way!). Outstanding views over countryside to Lake Trasimeno and beyond. Excellent staff (Maurizio a particular star), with good attention to detail. Slightly disorganised feel at times, but this is not to detract from what was a very restful, relaxing and calming 4 days. Good spa facility and physiotherapy massage to be recommended. Food excellent, and local wines added to the experience. Breakfasts were brilliant - wonderful fresh bread, a fantastic selection of honeys (17, I think) and attentive but not intrusive service at all times.

Perfect in every way
Sorry for the over usage of the word amazing, but the food, service, views, staff...amazing. We stayed in the private villa and woke each morning to sweeping views of the lake and country side, olive trees and the scent of lavendar. Exceptional food and staff - especially Luca & Mauritizio. The hotel is secluded, but after a few hours there, you realize there's no reason to go anywhere else.

Prachtige locatie met fantastisch uitzicht op meer van Trasimeno. Heerlijk rustig met vriendelijk personeel en ook heerlijk gedineerd in het restaurant. Wel veel gasten met 1 of meerdere honden. Handdoeken is misschien ook puntje van aandacht. Voor de rest heerlijk verblijf gehad en een absolute aanrader! Mvg Ellen Tuynman

Il luogo è molto bello . Le stanze comode e belle . Molto da migliorare per quanto riguarda la piscina. Troppo esposta al sole . Gli ombrelli piccoli ed inutili , tanto da rendere difficile rimanere a bordo piscina nelle ore più calde . Non parliamo del servizio in piscina praticamente inesistente . Ristorante: qualità prezzo assurdo. Infatti oltre ad essere molto caro il menù offre una scelta limitata di piatti e tra l’altro non varia In complesso la struttura non è adatta per lunghi soggiorni Il costo assolutamente ingiustificato

Gentile Maria, siamo contenti che hai apprezzato la bellezza del luogo e siamo consapevoli che abbiamo sempre da migliorare, e cerchiamo di farlo tutti i giorni ascoltando i preziosi consigli e giudizi degli ospiti. Per questo motivo non capiamo bene il significato di "piscina troppo esposta al sole" e questo ci resta difficile da risolvere. Gli ombrelloni sono sinceramente di grandezza standard. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante, durante il soggiorno le è stato fornire anche il cellulare del nostro responsabile, cosa che normalmente non facciamo; si è messo a disposizione per poter andare in contro alle vostre esigenze. Durante il vostro soggiorno ci sono stati ospiti con più notti e nessuno ha lamentato questa scelta limitata. Personalmente ho sentito anche che si complimentava col responsabile del pranzo. Detto ciò facciamo tesoro dei suoi preziosi consigli e ne terremo conto per migliorare. Un caro saluto

Da das Frühstück in die Unterkunft gebracht wurde fehlte ein passender Tisch. Das Frühstück war so lala entweder fehlte das Brot ganz oder dann für 2 Personen nur 1Jogurt keine Teller dafür viel Kuchen

Hotel lindo com alguns contratempos
O hotel é lindo, maravilhoso, mas estava muito frio (-2 graus) e estava sem água quente então não pudemos tomar banho. Isso foi um contratempo bem chato, pois viajamos o dia inteiro na estrada e chegamos loucos por um banho. Também ele é bem difícil de ser localizado, mesmo com o GPS. No mais, o local é perfeito, o café da manhã delicioso.

Fantastisk flott sted!
Her trivdes vi veldig godt. Et flott sted å stoppe både for en romantisk getaway, men også familie med barn. Basseng med fin utsikt. Herlig frokost med bl.a. lokalprodusert honning og spekemat. Lekehus/hage for barna. Koselige uterestaurant. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake her.

Relax!
La struttura è perfetta per chi cerca qualche giorno in assoluto relax. La camera con la vasca da bagno di fronte al letto è assolutamente perfetta; la colazione in camera è davvero una chicca! L'unico piccolo neo da migliorare il comfort del letto: materassi e cuscini non comodissimi. Per il resto tutto assolutamente perfetto! Grazie infinite a Manila per la sua gentilezza!

Location suggestiva, accessibilità del luogo poco agevole (amenoche non si possegga un fuoristrada e una cartina e non ascoltare il navigatore). Colazione super per qualità e scelta. Da ritornare sicuramente .....

O hotel é fantástico com uma linda vista e a natureza ao seu redor. Tem um serviço impecável, com bom restaurante onde também é servido um café da manhã farto. Tivemos muita dificuldade em localizar o hotel. Nossa sugestão é que seja melhor informado o passo-a-passo de como chegar, pois o GPS nos leva para outro local. Ligamos para o hotel a equipe foi muito atenciosa em nos orientar em como chegar.

Tolle ruhige Lage, sehr freundlicher Empfang.
Am letzten Tag waren wir die einzigen Gäste und dachten ohje, was werden wir für ein frühstück bekommen. Was wir dann vorfanden, hat uns fast erschlagen. Von allem was sich das Herz wünscht, das feinste. Den Wein, den ich vom Haus mitnehmen wollte , hat der cheff von einem Gasthaus geholt, weil er selbst keinen mehr hatte. Super Service! Danke!

Fantastico per un week end romantico.
Relais di altissimo livello in un posto incantevole su una collina con vista panoramica. Stanze molto curate e fini. Arredamento molto curato e ricercato in linea con un Relais nel mezzo della natura. Tutto molto romantico. Perfetto per una coppia in cerca di qualcosa di speciale. Se volete fare colpo su una ragazza, questo è il posto adatto. Il relais è piuttosto fuorimano quindi se volete un po di vita dovrete percorrere almeno 4 / 5 kilometri in macchina. Manciano è li vicino ed è molto piacevole da visitare con buoni ristoranti. Il lago Trasimeno poi, è a meno di 10/15 kilometri se volete fare una bella passeggiata. Il loro centro benessere che puo essere prenotato per uso -esclusivo- (due ore solo per voi!) è dotato di sauna, bagno turco ed una Jacuzzi 4 posti. Anche il centro benessere è in stile country molto intimo. Per il resto, il Relais è completamente immerso in un bosco. Ci sono diversi percorsi montain bike. Per i patiti di tale sport è decisamente un ottimo punto di partenza per coniugare relax e sport.

Il Cantico Della Natura - per il totale relax
relais in posizione incantevole (posizione collinare con vista sul lago Trasimeno), ristrutturato con finiture a rustico (anche se completo di comfort quali televisione e wi-fi). Idoneo per una vacanza di relax (lontano da ogni centro abitato, ci si arriva solo in macchina), meno per un soggiorno tipo business.
