I’m d highly recommended. I took my son for 2 nights & we had a twin room. Has so many positives for the price, it’s actually amazing value for money. My only negative is that the housekeeper mustn’t of looked inside the kettle because it wasn’t pleasant and needs replacing. But I just used the kitchen kettle for my morning coffees.
The property was close to town, easy access to transport. Room was basic and bed very comfy. I had my own toilet which was great. The shared bathroom was only for 2 rooms which meant there was always access.
The property was close to town. I had a shared bathroom with 1 other person which was fine. The bed was comfy. The room was basic and may my needs. Staff were helpful.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a lockable door. It even had a fridge, a luxury absent from hotel rooms costing two or three times as much.
The bathroom arrangements were unusual, with the loo in a tiny cupboard, and the basin and shower cubicle at the end of the bed. There was nowhere to hang a damp towel, and I was slightly unnerved by exposed wiring on a broken extractor fan switch just above the shower door.
It's not the Ritz but I've stayed in worse places, and for £45 a night including parking a stone's throw from Windsor and Bray, you pay for what you get!
The location is beautiful, the house is not too far away from the town's centre and within walking distance from the railway station. Check- in was easily done. The accommodation was clean and the room is equipped with everything you need. There is a kitchen in which the guests can prepare their own food.
The service and attention was superb. They upgraded us to an ensuite room as was not double bedrooms available, only tween beds, and for no extra cost. The rooms were very well equipped, with fridge, also shared kitchen, which for us was perfect. Overall very happy with the stay, would recommend 100%.
I’ll start with the good: check in was easy and the communication by staff was great. The staff was very friendly, gave us an extra half hour to check out, and stored our luggage for us.
The not so great: This property did not look like the photos on the web. It’s quite rundown and shabby. Our sheets had stains and while the listing promised a “private bathroom,” we had to share one across the hallway with other guests.
I wouldn’t stay there again, but if you’re on a budget and can live with a little schmutz, you might be OK.
The room was tiny, but very clean. There were PLENTY of breakfast options as well. The laundry was extremely convenient as well. The only thing I didn’t like was the air fresheners in the room. They made my nose hurt.
Great place to stay if you'd like to have kitchen access.
Fridge, Kettle, Cups, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk provided.
Bed was VERY comfortable. Bedding all clean.
TV is streaming only - no regular TV channels.
Could adjust the room temperature via the radiator dial.
The shower is in the room, not in a separate bathroom. It didn't bother me, but it's unusual.
It's not a luxurious place to stay, but it's clean, comfortable and affordable in this expensive area.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to drop my suitcases off early in the morning of my check in.
There is space to park directly in the grounds of the hotel.

Sheets and towels were lovely, fresh and clean. TV and tea/coffee facilities available in room. Self service breakfast was really good with good choice and the staff were very helpful and patient with all requests. There’s parking too which was a plus. My only complaint was that our room was accessed via the back garden and there was no light out there at night. We also had a green emergency exit light on all night in our room which was of no use because the emergency exit was blocked by the double bed and the air in the room felt dusty.

Your credit card is no good here!
When I booked the room, my intention was to pay at the lodge. They didn't take a credit card but wanted me to log into their wifi and transfer the money from my account to theirs. I ended up paying with cash, though I needed that cash to give to a friend for football tickets.
The room was clean and comfortable but no TV. Well there was a TV set but no channels to watch. A note in the room said to push either the youtube or netflix button on the remote. There was no Netflix button however.
Breakfast was self serve, meaning you go in one cabinet for bread for toast, another for plates, fill a kettle, take out teabags, etc. I didn't mind, it's just that this was a first for me and i average about 30 days a year in hotels.
Very clean, safe, 22 min walk to train station, easy check-in, they send you a one time code via e-mail, to enter and get your room key at the reception, easier check out, just to drop off the key in a box, mini fridge in room, private WC in room, shared shower, which I saw always available, cookies, 2 water bottles, liquid and mini bar hand soaps.
Two water faucets, you need to decide to wash your hands, face and mouth with very hot or very cold water. Nothing in between.
No sheet to cover, only a very small comforter, like children’s size.
No thermostat in my room, temperature just little colder than my liking.
I got an e-mail:
“The kitchen is set up for guests to use , feel free to use it , just please make sure it is clean and tidy ready for the next person to use.
There is yogurt, juice, eggs and milk in the fridge”
Upon check-in around 6pm I entered the kitchen to cook eggs, but someone came and didn’t let me, saying that it was for the morning.
I checked-out at 10 AM, but they let me park my car until the afternoon that I came back from London.
The area was quiet and they provided an accessible kitchen. Room 5 was especially hot at all times of day, I had a hard time sleeping even with fans going and the windows open.
The room doesn't look like the photos; it's dirty and old. I've never seen the shower and toilet in the same space without dividers, and the sink outside the bathroom. In short, the hotel room is NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID FOR IT, IT’S a SCAM in my opinion.
Haj made us so welcome and was very helpful
Kitchen was great and lots of food provided
So close to everything we needed
Thames 2 min walk
Close to Marlow for our concert
Bed ok. Wifi dodgy
Lovely
Thankyou
