"A very welcoming greeting upon arrival. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was very good and certainly set you up for the day. I didn’t eat in the pub for an evening meal, but it was a very quaint country pub, full of atmosphere. The menu choices looked very good, and if the breakfast was anything to go by I’m sure the meals would be very good too. Highly recommend the old inn."

"We LOVED this hotel. Easy parking on a weekend, lovely courtyard room big enough for myself and 3 friends walking the SW coast path. Nice easy check in procedure and SUCH a delicious breakfast. It felt very premium, but for a good value price. It was perfect for us, this was a one night stop en route on the coast path for us, but we wish we’d travelled back to stay here again the second night. Buses very easy right outside the hotel to get along to different destinations on the SW coast path too. High recommend."

"Extremely Disappointing – Filthy, Outdated, and Totally Neglected Unfortunately, my stay at this B&B was a massive disappointment. The building itself is extremely old and urgently needs a complete modernization, but the absolute worst part was the lack of hygiene. The entire property was very dirty, with cobwebs and visible filth everywhere. The room lacked even the most basic comforts: * **The bed:** Although it looked made, there was a terrible smell that made it obvious someone else had already slept in it without the sheets being changed. I actually had to find clean bedding to remake the bed myself just to be able to lie down. On top of that, the mattress was uncomfortable. * **Amenities:** There was no TV, no fan, and no air conditioning. It was very hot !! To top it all off, the kitchen where breakfast was served was completely filthy and messy. It left me with the distinct impression that this B&B has long lost any desire to properly serve or welcome guests. **I absolutely do not recommend staying here.** A thoroughly disappointing experience."

"Hosts were very nice people but the accommodation wasn't very clean. There was black hard bits on the bed pillows, lots of dirt and cobwebs under bed and behind furniture and noticed on the sat evening there was loads of mould and damp under the kitchen units and in corners of shower"

"A beautifully clean home from home property. A large rambling house on three floors offered a generous space for all of us to relax and celebrate a family occasion. The host was kind and informative about attractions in the local area.We were able to use all of the outside space and enjoyed the BBQ with a view of the sea. The bedrooms were large and nicely furnished with comfy beds and we all slept so well. Kitchen and dining area large enough for all of us to eat together. The dishwasher was really useful although there was plenty of plates and cutlery. The courtyard games room looked great but we didn’t need it for our short stay. Convenient for local beaches, supermarkets and eateries."

"A delightful stay with a multi-generational family group and the property suited our needs perfectly. A well equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The ground floor bedroom was useful for grandparents. As mentioned in the description, the Internet was a bit patchy at times but we chose to embrace this as an opportunity for digital detox."
