10/10 Excellent

Sarah Moise

I had a blissful 7 days stay at Litet Hem.

I had a blissful 7 days stay at Litet Hem. It is a beautifully designed and finished Shepherds Hut, fabulously maintained, stocked and positioned. The plot of land overlooks a field with wildlife (hares, deer, birds) and it is surrounded by a recently planted garden and courtyard. No one overlooking, it felt very private. It was a solo trip so it was spacious for one (but I would have been happy to share); the bed was immensely comfortable. The kitchen contains everything you need and the shower with toiletries very lush. Paul was super accommodating with my dietary needs, I was detoxing, and the basket of goodies on arrival was perfect and generous. I walked a lot to Avebury, Marlborough, Salisbury, Pewsey (saw 4 white horses) and enjoyed a canal stroke of 18km. The nature around here is spectacular and I am leaving refreshed, recharged and blissfully content. I would recommend this accommodation and location to others seeking comfort and solace in nature. It is opposite a pub but I heard nothing (the seating is on the other side of the building), and patrons were not noisy arriving and leaving. Laying in bed watching the sky through the roof light was magic,
