"Had a light large room with en suite, if you want fancy then this is not for you, the couple running it are very easy to talk to and very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good, right in the centre of town. "

"We were welcomed from first entering the establishment, we stayed in room 2 and the room was excellent with all amenities and comfortable bed. Food was excellent. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"The hotel and lake setting is beautiful. The spa is too expensive when you are limited to only two hours when it is extremely quiet."

"Quirky with some lovely staff in the evening in the restaurant. The gardens are also beautiful but small things could really enhance the hotel to get more from its potential. My stay improved after a few small disappointments. The room was warm and quiet. The meal on the second night was excellent (first night's green curry with poppadoms was less so and lacking in flavour)."
