"We wanted a budget-friendly place to stay in Mason that was clean, had cold A/C, and included breakfast, and this was exactly that!
The building could use some updates, and the gym was limited with a few machines not working. The common areas and elevator weren’t well air-conditioned.
However, our room was clean, and once we turned on the A/C, it was incredibly POWERFUL. Housekeeping refreshed towels, emptied trash, and restocked toiletries daily.
Breakfast had something for everyone: biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles, cereal, bagels, bread, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, and juice. Everything stayed well stocked, and coffee was available anytime.
I didn’t use the indoor pool, but my kids enjoyed it and said it was small but nice.
Midway through our stay, we booked a second room, and the staff placed it right next to our adult children’s room, exactly as we hoped.
I’d read reviews about an unfriendly manager, but I had a different experience. He helped us check in and arrange the adjoining rooms. He wasn’t rude, I think he just doesn’t suffer any fools. This hotel knows it’s a great value for families. It stayed busy our entire visit, which says a lot.
It’s close to restaurants and Kings Island, and we’d definitely stay here again!"
