"We had the most incredible stay! The villa is absolutely stunning. It has old world character with modern updates. There are 3 bedrooms and one full bathroom on each floor, which was very comfortable for our family of six. Alda - the house manager - was so warm and offered to connect my husband to a doctor when he was sick. I HIGHLY recommend booking Alda for at least a dinner. "This is a beautiful property. Two couples stayed in the villa. Unfortunately the rain was incessant so we were not able to use the outdoor patio and pool. But it was an ideal base to explore Porto, the staff was superb, and the breakfast set us up for the day."

It’s easy to get downtown by bus,tram or Uber. The owner and management company were quick to respond to any questions that we had. "Dino and Ines were the perfect hosts, they could not have done more for us. On our first night they even took us out to a restaurant for a super meal before showing us around Povao de Vazim. They pointed out the local supermarkets, metro station, parking and took us on a tour of the town. The house had everything that we could have wanted together with bread, cheese, a nice bottle of wine and even a home baked cake. "Our stay was made especially pleasant by the helpfulness and friendliness of the owner. He could not have been better. Because it was an old stone house the availability of electrical outlets for charging phones etc and for appliances was very limited. Perhaps the charm of an old house. The swimming pool was a wonderful attraction on hot days."

"Excellent property! The Continental breakfast in the morning was pretty good as well. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Great location, and very walkable to many restaurants, shops, and a small grocer just a couple doors down. We definitely recommend and stay there again."
