"I stayed for one night at the Hospedaria do Bonfim earlier this week. I had booked 3 nights but it was so bad I checked out after the first night. As the room had no heating both the bedroom and the bathroom where freezing cold. The bathroom was clearly a converted balcony and the windows had been left wide open (in February), no doubt to try and get rid of the damp smell. The bathroom had hot water but neither the bath or the sink had a plug. There was also no shower bracket or shower curtain...

"Excellent property! The Continental breakfast in the morning was pretty good as well. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Great location, and very walkable to many restaurants, shops, and a small grocer just a couple doors down. We definitely recommend and stay there again."
