Unfortunately, this stay did not go well. There are multiple issues with this property. First, it's balcony overlooks an area where there is a parking garage and an alley for restaurants. Late into the night restaurant workers and patrons are noisy just a few stories down from the place. I was woken up 5 times per night. Delivery trucks start coming around 0400 and when they reverse they make the loud beeping noise. And, it was hot. While it is normal not to have AC in Milton Keynes which is fine, on hot days you need to leave the windows and doors open. The occupant of the flat right below is a chain smoker. He lights up at least 5 times a night. On the night we left he lit up again at 0400 and this filled the whole apartment with smoke. The location is good by restaurants, but this just is not a five star VRBO. It is two stars. Also, when we arrived it had not been cleaned. Credit to the hosting company as they had it cleaned while we were at dinner, but they admitted that when you book a reservation within 24 hours their system misses cleanings. Finally, there is black mold in the bathroom and there is no blind on the patio door so if you are using the sofa couch plan on the sun coming up early and being right in your eyes.
