Michael at the front desk was outstanding. Victor was great. Boaz was fun and exceptional. The two young ladies had the biggest smiles ever (says my wife). The entire experience was fantastic!!!!!!

Absolutely incredible! I would say this is a once-in-a-lifetime destination but I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again. The views, food and service were all impeccable. One of the things I loved most is the many different places to relax and enjoy the scenery and, with less than 40 rooms, it was very quiet. I had the pleasure of having a massage there too, which was uber relaxing. The quaint village is a (steep) 10 min walk away and has some lovely places to eat and drink.

lugar de ensueño!
Todo fue excelente y nos ayudaron a preparar una sorpresa por un cumpleaños. Lo malo es que no pudimos alquilar auto y fue muy dificil llegar, seria lindo que tenga algo, un carro lo que sea para buscarte en donde te deja el bus. Ademas no tienen sereno, por lo que si necesitas salir temprano, tampoco podes. El resto es todo excelente! la comida, la atencion, absolutamente todo!!

Fabulous place at the top of a very steep hill
Fabulous setting (but a bit of a challenge getting up the very steep hill through the narrow streets - okay if you are a confident driver!). We loved the character and ambience, and the decor. Totally charming. And the staff were all really helpful too.

Magical. Particularly in the evenings, where you can sit outside in one of several semi-private courtyards and enjoy a glass of wine, beautiful garden surroundings, and stunning views over the countryside from the castle's perch. The dining room and bar are also wonderful and the food superb. Room was comfortable, fantastic view. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I'm every back in the region.

We spent two nights at this amazing property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar/grounds/pool were gorgeous and the food and drink were excellent and affordable. We were sad to leave!!! We never left the property really so no idea what there is to do nearby but if you need a place to swim/chill/eat, I highly recommend!

The Castillo is stunningly beautiful with breath taking views, staff friendling and food superb. I cannot recommend this stunning old Moorish castle enough

A special stay
We were late arriving, so some what stressed; but on arrival we were made to feel welcome and at ease and our dinner reservation was put back. The hotel is a special place with an authentic feel about the restoration with classic furniture and a charming ambience. The restaurant was great for both dinner and breakfast. It lived up to all it's positive reviews, starting with a stunning setting through to a high level of service from everyone that we interacted with. The road up to the castle needs to be taken slowly and with care but is perfectly safe. The route out is a lot simpler! Go there, you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful end to our holiday!
Fabulous hotel, stunning views from our room! Beautiful gardens and swimming pool, and the food was also excellent. Loads of nooks and crannies for you to have your lunch amongst the gardens. I loved this place!! Not for anyone unsteady on their feet, lots of steps, and the walk into the village would be too steep for some, but we really enjoyed it

There was a large party at dinner that was disruptive and loud. They were making speeches, singing and asked other guests at other tables to be quiet. It was unfortunate as we were trying to enjoy our dinner together. The waiter was accommodating and moved us to another room to have our dessert and coffee. I appreciated the staff in this case but the dinner was disruptive.

Magical stay in a fairytale castle
This place is unreal. The hotel has something new to discover around every corner. Eating local tapas on the beautiful terrace and garden with amazing mountain views was a highlight of our trip. The team there made us feel so welcome and the service was truly something else. We could not want anything more.

Very relaxing
A beautiful location in a town we'd not stayed in previously but had visited. A quick overnight but relaxing as spent some hours in the pool enjoying the views and cool water after a good days hike. The room was large and comfortable. The coffee in room made the morning perfect. Would return.

Staff are great and fabulous hotel! However not the easiest place to drive to unless you know the location well, and don't mind mountain terrains.

First time we have stayed here although we have enjoyed the restaurant a few times. Could not fault the room or service but found it odd they put a kettle in your room with no cups, tea or coffee? Ask for a room with views across the valley amazing!

Stunning Castillo de Monda
Had a fantastic stay for our wedding anniversary. Absolutely stunning and tranquill castle set in wonderful landscape. Whether chilling by the pool or on the peaceul patio here you will find relaxation at its best. Staff are fantastic at ensuring your stay is stress free. Restaurant food amazing with friendly knowledgeable waiting staff. Only one complaint breakfast a little overpriced and to have no sliced bread for toast was a little dissapointing and surprising.
