Loved the peace and the location. Nice room and lots of space. However, no food or bar although the web site dais there was. That meant had no choice but to drive into the village a t night.

Amazing views of Montalbano

Largest hotel in the area. They used to have a spa but have discontinued it. It was so big and there were only like 5 other guest. They did have a nice large breakfast spread. They are a little outdated but the rooms are large and comfortable. The views are AMAZING~!!!!! Service very good too.

This was the best hotel that we have stayed to date. We left home 7 weeks ago travelling and staying in different hotels and with out doubt one of the best.

Why go to Montalbano?

Montalbano is very isolated and the Montalbano Hotel is very difficult to find. The hotel is really quite a nice building, but is currently not in good condition. The staff was very friendly, but no one spoke English, which made communication somewhat challenging. The breakfast was excellent, particularly recognizing that the ample spread was prepared for the very few guests staying there. In summary, Montalbano has little to offer, but if you have to go there, the Montalbano Hotel is probably your best place to stay.

Amazing trip

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff they are simply fantastic!!! So helpful, kind and nothing is to much trouble. The hotel is situated in the most beautiful location with lovely long walks up into the mountains. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The spa is a must and such great value! We had a fantastic stay totally relaxing and peaceful just what we were looking for. The town is close with a few shops, 2 supermarkets and lovely fresh fruit available from either a shop or the little vans which stop and sell on the corners. The castle and village streets are really lovely to walk through so much history. This is a really amazing place and I would highly recommend a visit here. The only one thing I would say is if your driving the roads can be very tight with sharp bends, definitely for experienced drivers only.

Nice modern hotel.

A very nice hotel, but really not what we expected. It’s was like a modern hotel in the states with it’s large dining area and huge sitting area. Large elevator, wide hallways, and carpet. Just not your typical Italian hotel. With that said, the breakfast was very good, rooms were a good size, and the shower was large.

Una finestra sui Nebrodi . . . . . e le Eolie!

Una sola notte di permanenza in un albergo praticamente vuoto. Unico ospite a pranzo e cena, usufruito del tavolo migliore da dove si gode un panorama mozzafiato. Servizio adeguato al livello di un hotel 4-stelle. La struttura e' certamente valida, situata in un' ambiente tranquillo a ridosso del paese di Montalbano Elicona, pero' non facile arrivarci partendo dai maggiori capoluoghi dell'isola, essendo lontano da autostrade e strade di grande comunicazione. Ma dopotutto questa e' la ragone della mia visita, alla ricerca dei luoghi meno battuti dal turismo di massa. Altamente raccomandabile.
