Thank you for your rating. As we are going through renovation, there are times when we are unable to meet your expectations despite the fact that we strive to exceed out guests' expectations daily. We are truly sorry that your stay was not up to par, and that there was no hot water on the date of check-out. We have compensated more than half of your room rate, and if that was not sufficient, we do apologize since we believed that no one stays at any hotels or motels in the Monterey county for 50 no matter what the circumstance may be. Full refund may have been more appropriate for you, however, because the issue of no hot water was resolved after a while, the compensation was mainly for the inconvenience we have caused you. We could have also arranged a late check-out, but again, this is up to your schedule as well, so we thought room rate adjustment was the most appropriate. Once again, thank you for staying with us.

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry that our parking space is rather compromised. As for dining and bar, we would have liked for you to reach out to us for suggestions. We are located on a perfect location when it comes to getting access to the nearest dining areas. Downtown where they have many restaurants and bars are less than 5 minute drive, Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf is also within short driving distance and even a walking distance. We continuously strive to improve our customer service to meet our guests' expectations.
