My wife & I stayed 3 nights for an anniversary weekend. Nice place & clean. Room was great... big bed & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent every day. I would recommend it for a relaxing couple trip.

Bed n breakfast review

We enjoyed our stay. The night we arrived there was a storm that knocked out transformers and the lights were out for several hours. We would like to go back again and enjoy this bed n breakfast more. Everything looked clean and we were pleased with our stay.

A true treasure and treat.

Very clean with nice amenities. The bathrobe was a nice touch. The room had plenty of space to sit and read or sit at a desk and write. Lots of windows.

This One is a Winner

First rate facility. Well run, exceptionally well managed directly by the owner. The place is very nicely furnished, with a good layout and a killer front porch for rocking. Fine breakfast included. Definitely recommend the Red Bluff Cottage.

What a great introduction to Montgomery instead of a generic hotel. Terrific B&B experience, I appreciated the set breakfast time (8 or 8:30) which got my teenage daughter out of bed, and brought us together with other guests. Would have never guessed that the B&B was built for that purpose in 1987 - but made so much sense that the guestrooms were downstairs (so no one had to drag luggage upstairs). Felt like a historic home. Highly recommended.

The Red Bluff Cottage is centrally located, the room was beautiful and the bed comfortable and the morning breakfast was delicious. In addition the staff was helpful, friendly and made the stay that much more enjoyable. The next time I am in town I will certainly sty there again.

The in has character, delightful hosts, great service and rooms are cleverly appointed based on themes. Ours was the riverboat room. I was glad I brought my own hairdryer as I didn’t find one in the room.

I have stayed at this property twice and each time the hosts were extremely accommodating, even when I arrived WAY later than expected due to a flight cancellation. Anyways, come for the beautiful gardens, stay for the fantastic breakfast conversation.

Red Bluff is run by Bonnie and Barry and they couldn't be nicer or more attentive to what guests need. Montgomery was a fascinating city, but we needed to get to know it from locals - it wouldn't have felt right to stay in a hotel (especially if you're not from Alabama yourself).

Southern hospitality in Comfortable surroundings

I would recommend this place in a heart beat. The couple that own it are wonderful and accommodating and create a warm atmosphere. The house decor was beautiful and accommodations were up to date. I have a bad back and the bed was a little too soft for me. Also my husband struggles with steps and you have to go upstairs for breakfast. So if you have physical problems I would speak to the owners in advance because they presented as the type who would do anything they can to accommodate. Another highlight is their private off street parking even though they are downtown. Just a great warm place to stay.

This was our first visit to the Deep South. It was also our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast. Bonnie and Barry were our hosts for a four day stay. The room was fine. Clean and comfortable. My wife, who collects antiques, really liked the antique decor. Not having a TV in the room at first seemed like it was going to be a hassle. It wasn't. We were out and about and listened to NPR and I streamed some video on my Kindle. No problems. Breakfast was done communally with other guests. This was our favorite. Food was great and home cooked. We got a chance to meet the other guests and discussed a variety of issues. Bonnie and Barry kept the conversations going and introduced us life growing up and living in the South. Montgomery was great. We went to the Legacy Museum and the Memorial which were very powerful. Toured the city and did some shopping. Food was good. Our daughter is in the Air Force and there is a large base there, Maxwell AFB, that does a lot of training. If she has to train there again, and we visit, we would not hesitate to book another stay at the Red Bluff.

The owner Bonnie was very accommodating to my dietary needs. I have celiac and both mornings she made breakfasts which I could eat without being worried about gluten contamination.

Relaxing cottage

Great 2 night stay! Bonnie & Barry were wonderful host. The breakfast both morning were outstanding. I am Celiac so Bonnie made sure I could eat both mornings . Our favorite time was sitting on the front porch relaxing till dusk. You can see the Capitol from the sidewalk in front of the cottage. The view is awesome!
