"The staff were great. Had a really good salad. Nice pub and restaurant area But, the room needed a good paint. Shower needs the mould cleaned off to and the worst part was the mattress Thankfully i got an extra duvet to use as a "topper" to try and get a few hours sleep in"

The on-site car parking was too restrictive to use. The room was adequate but the door to the bathroom wouldn't close & the springs on the mattress on the double bed kept "twanging"."

"From the minute we arrived the hosts could not have been more accommodating We arrived around 2.30pm and with limited parking on the street their was no spare spaces but Phil kindly moved his so we could park right outside this goes along way in my book Room was nice and clean as you expect My only worry was going to be the shower as stayed in few hotels in Blackpool where the pressure has been rubbish but this shower did not disappoint Their was a bar at night and the prices very cheap...

An unexpected surprise!
"We had 3 rooms as we took our elderly parents for an overnight treat, and we booked dinner, B&B to keep life simple and also because the hotel entertainment looked good. We arrived on the day after my dads birthday and when reception heard of this, they treated him to a lollipop! Checkin was very friendly, rooms all nice, clean and comfortable. Evening meal was very tasty and efficient with a good choice and sensible wine prices. From parking in the garage to restaurant service and checkin, service was friendly and excellent in the hotel. Evening entertainment with Helen Farrell and the Four Ds was in a recently refurbished bar area and was again excellent, with my parents favourably comparing the singers to cruise ship holidays. The compère Lucy was also great as well as being very friendly! The weekend was topped by my dad - who’s never played bingo - winning £100 in the cash bingo in the evening, having already been presented (unexpectedly) with a bottle of fizz during the show for his birthday. We’ve always been a bit snobbish about staying in the centre of Blackpool but a stay at the Ruskin has completely changed our minds. Amazing service, good meals and comfortable rooms only 5 minutes from the seafront - well recommended!"
