"Great hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Small things make all the difference and the experience was consistent all through the hotel. From a personable arrival at reception, giving me all the relevant info (last orders, gym opening times etc), friendly gym staff and great customer service and meal in the restaurant. I forgot my tooth paste and the lovely lady at the desk (apologies didn’t get name) gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste. I also didn’t know how to find the gym and she walked me there. Really made me feel valued as a guest. So much so, I enquired about the cost of the conference room for the day as hold quarterly business meetings with a small uk team who stay over the night before and have a full day meeting. I’ll be putting this hotel forwards as a suggestion for a future meeting. I work in sales and so stay in a lot of hotels weekly, all over the Uk. This is the first time staying here and is already in my top 5 hotels. Particularly love the gym and pool facilities which is what often draws me to picking hotels. Thanks Marriot Preston team! "I stayed here for two nights away on business. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The facilities are fantastic. If you get to use the pool and gym etc. they are very good and worth a bit of time. Especially at the end of a long day. Parking is very convenient and the staff are helpful and professional. One of the best village hotels I’ve been too. "
