"Room was comfortable, clean and very pleasant."

"I didn't use the laundry facility. I didn't feel safe. Not only is this property a hotel, but it's an extended stay facility, which is fine but I wish I had know before booking. I booked 2 rooms, 159 & 161. Room 161 was not ready for occupancy at 3, it was after 4 that I finally got into my room,and it had a strong order of vinegar. Room 159, had some serious problems. The toilet backed up 2 times and had to be unclogged. The sink in the bathroom was very unstable, loose and I felt it would fall off the wall at any moment. The telephone didn't work, and the A/C was barely adequate and was unable to read the control instructions. There wasn't any table or chair to put food on to eat. The mattress were very old and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most was the noise and the overwhelming smell of Marijuana. I understand it's legal, but this was a non-smoking rooms and after being out for the day coming back it was disgusting. The people hanging around outside were questionable, especially since there was a mental health facility across the street. I traveled with my daughter and 2 disabled grandkids, we made sure we were in the rooms before dark. But, the staff was friendly. "

"One bed's mattress was so lop sided it was unusable. No hot water. The room next door had no one in it and the alarm clock would go off at 6am for an hour. Called and went down to front desk to ask them to unplug it or turn it off but it was never handled. Three nights of sleeping with pillows over our heads. Definitely will not be returning. "

"Don't be fooled by the aged sign on the pole, the rooms have been renovated, with good workmanship. A bonus is the tiny Thai restaurant just 2 blocks south on Magnolia Blvd. Access to I-8 and 67 is flawless. Excellent value. "

"Everything worked ac/heater worked good... Parking close to room.... I would suggest bring ur own towel, an I had water roaches (seen 2) in my room.."

"Well ran motel the rooms are clean and the price is cheap though Expedia. The maids clean everything every day. Maintenance man is very friendly and works and keeps everything in order. Thanks this hotel will always be my number 1 choice in El cajon California. Thanks 😊"
