"Stumbled on the perfect stay and it turned out to be such a fun find. The brand-new Gaylord Pacific Resort has it all: water slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool right by the marina. The whole vibe is chic, modern, and incredibly spacious. If you’re traveling with kids and planning to explore all that San Diego has to offer, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. It just opened in 2025 and is conveniently located near many of the main attractions."

"This is basically a redecorated motel 6. Not a bad stay, but way overpriced. Dirty grout in the shower, outdated room, no iron/ironing board, no smart tv. Again, it’s not horrible and if it marketed itself as a budget motel, then that would be fine. But it’s so far from the main part of the city and we paid more than $200 a night. "

"Worst experience. Came from the inland empire on vacation should’ve went to motel 6. No running hot water. Water shut off. Other tenants are loud asf and overpriced to be honest."

"Check in was rude (charged $15 additional for parking), room assigned had sticky dirty floor, A/C was ns Went back to the front desk and got transferred. New room still had dirty floor but at least not sticky and the A/C was giving white noise lol. The tub was not great, my mom refused to shower. The refrigerator had a whole in it and did not work nor did the closest ice dispenser. The hall/balcony/walkway was full of pet urine and had fresh and old pet feces. I decided to book a room here because it stated it was recommended by families. I was traveling with my mother who is handicap and my 3 and 7 year old and I would never recommend this property to a family. "

"La estancia fué buena, solo el baño estaba tapado y el de recepción solo nos dió un destapacaños para que nosotros lo hicieramos. Creo que es algo que les corresponde a ellos, personal de limpieza o a quien corresponda. El jacuzzi estaba sin servicio y fué por lo que decidimos hospedarnos ahi, en la pagina no decía, ni aviso ni nada. super mal, no pudimos disfrutar nuestra estadía como deseabamos."
