The popular walking trails at Connemara National Park can be reached within 10-minutes by car, and Kylemore Abbey and gardens within 15-minutes. A trek up Diamond Hill will offer breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding coastline, mountains, and countryside. The many networks of lakes and rivers in the region offer ample opportunities for trout and salmon fishing. Ross beach at Moyard is 5km from the cottage, or a ten-minute drive. A bus stop which services Clifden, Letterfrack, Galway and Westport routes is located just 250m from the property. The white sandy beaches at Renvyle, Cleggan and Claddaghduff can be reached within 15-20 minutes by car, and include Omey beach, Sallerna beach, White strand and Lettergesh beach. The nearest grocery store, restaurants and bars are 4km away at Letterfrack village. Cleggan village is 9km away and offers groceries, bars and restaurants, and the departure point for the ferry to Inishbofin Island. Clifden town, the largest town in Connemara, is 10km away, or approximately a 15-minute drive and offers a wider range of supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, cafés, and services. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5 persons. The accommodation is over two levels. The ground floor offers entrance hall, kitchen, combined living and dining room, sunroom, bathroom, utility, and double bedroom. The upper floor is home to a double bedroom and a single bedroom.
The modern kitchen includes a breakfast area, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, and dishwasher. The adjoining utility room houses a washing machine and dryer. The combined living and dining room includes comfortable sofa and chairs, coffee table, multi-channel TV, electric fire, dining table and dining chairs. The bathroom includes a bath, separate shower cubicle with electric shower, sink and WC. A sunroom and a double bedroom downstairs, along with a double and single bedroom upstairs complete accommodation. Outdoor furniture is available for those warmer days.
