A most pleasant stay in Hampton Inn Munich
Valentine was so helpful. I cannot thank him enough. He went over and beyond! Helen was also very nice. All the staff I just simply was not able to get their names were very nice and professional. To think that it was a weekend with the highest snowfall in more than a decade in Munich!

Excellent hotel. Is out of the hustle and bustle of Munich downtown. Wonderful access to transportation (MVG) direct to the Central Station in 10 minutes or less. Restaurants and Supermarkets really close by. I have stayed there before and love it. Only one downside, should have a mini fridge.

Lovely place with a good size room. Disappointed with morning breakfast, the fry up was cold on all three days, and not much variety. No local German cuisine, like the german sausages.

Stay anywhere else.
Whole room would get a severe smell of sewer gas. Bathroom fan was set to always on. Clearly they know about the issue and this is their fix. It would be so bad at points that you’d throw up. Pillows were about 6 years past their life, felt like they are putting cotton balls in them to keep them alive. I told the front desk of both of these issues, they just said ok and smiled. Clearly they don’t care about the customer. I mean even an “oh I’m so sorry your stay wasn’t pleasant.” It’s clearly living up to the Hampton Inn name.

Comfy and Nice
Easy to check in. Parking was an extra fee but worth it. It is about 2 miles walking to get to the main town square, but is located on a tram line so easy off and on if needed.

We stayed for 2 nights for family of 3 including a child. Thought the rooms were a bit small and was told they only have 1 size room to our disappointment. The hotel is clean and well kept. Breakfast selection was good and food tastes bleh in European standards, but it's free. The entrance from car garage to the hotel was weird. I don't get why I can't use my hotel room card to enter, but I have to buzz in every time. Also, I need a special card from the reception to access self-laundry. These are some quirks that I didn't care for. Apart from that, it was a nice stay.

Worst hotel in Germany
It was probably the worst hotel I have been to in my life. To start with my aircon didn’t work and it took them 2 days just for someone to come and have a look. After someone had a look he left saying someone would call from reception. The phones must have been down as I never got a call and still no aircon during a heat wave of 30 degree days. but not only that the rooms shower head was broken and hanging at waist level and could not be set any higher. The same maintenance guy looked at it and said it could be fixed tomorrow. This was on the second day. Of course that never got fixed. My friend Cameron was very on edge at this point as he has some pretty bad conditions. And to add to the bathroom water was leaking into the laundry area from the bottom of the wall into one of our suitcases. And to top it off we got to wake up to some nice soggy bacon and breakfast that was lovely, not. The breakfast was also very average and left my borderline coughing my lungs up over the sink after breakfast most days. But apart from that the working told me everything would be taken care of which was nice to hear but when they just say that and nothing gets done is quite hurtful to my friend cameron. If he doesn’t make it the rest of our trip it’s because of this place. So thanks a lot

Nowhere on Expedia or Hotel site did it say there we stairs to climb up and down with suitcases to get to the hotel which was very difficult. Also we had to change rooms twice in order to get a room where the AC worked

Unfortunately it was my worst trip and the hotel played big role with that. Heating wasn't working in the room and aircon was left on which i didn't notice in the beginning. Fell a sleep shortly after arriving my room and when i woke up i had terrible cold which ruined all my holiday. I left today and cold got even worse. When i spoke to them about heating , i was given a very small heater which is smaller than my hand and it wasn't heating the room at all. Breakfast was very good and staff were always trying to help but the tempreture in the room basically ruined it all. I asked them to come and check the room to see that heating was really poor which they did and i was told that it was same in all rooms.

Hotel is very good, laundry is the worst!
The hotel stay was amazing. However, the laundry service was very very bad. They ruined a shirt of mine, and I have not yet been able to elicit any response from the hotel in this regard.

Check in was okay, staff didnt seem very professional or helpful but it was quick. Staff for housekeeping and at the breakfast area were great however. Checkout was easy and quick. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious, it lacked a fridge which would have been nice. Its close to a main s bahn station so getting in and out of the city or to the airport was extremely quick and easy. In general it was a good experience

Lovely room, with a small supermarket almost next door. Breakfast is great. Although I didn’t manage to get coffee on one mornings due to either long que and a broken machine. Disappointing, chocolates that were left for me were unable to be found by the front desk staff. I asked the staff member to check but they replied ‘nothing’. Walking distance to the railway into the city Centre. .

Upon arrival we found our room to be in a poor state. The toilet when flushed sprays onto the floor, there were tears in the sheets, the safe was inoperable and the carpet edge was sharp and protruding. We then had to keep going back to the front desk, who insisted the handyman check the toilet. When the repairman came he simply said "that's how it is" and left. There's no way a toilet should spray onto the floor. We were given a new room with all the same problems and then finally a third, still the toilet sprayed on the floor, but the safe worked and the sheets were fine. The beds are hard as concrete, but the breakfast was good.

Breakfast was good. Location was good for us being close to the train station. Room was really too small for three people but we weren’t spending any time in the room so we made it work. Shower design was poor. A half wall that allowed water to go everywhere in the bathroom.
