"The front desk staff was friendly but could not provide an explanation for the extra fees. The room wasn't as clean as expected and housekeeping never came during our stay. Also, the room was much smaller than pictured."

"Great hotel and great spot especially having teenagers like to sight see and take pictures. Deposit is around $200 so for families it’s something to consider if doing multiple rooms. "

"I was most disappointed by the lack of room service, or any options for delivery of food to the room. The restaurant on the first floor has amazing food, but take-out must be picked up by the guest, rather than it being delivered to the room."

"Property is conveniently located near grocery & pharmacy, and 1 block from CTA Red Line stop. Clean room and overall quiet. It was a great location for a weekend getaway. Room lighting level is low."

The breakfast was also unusual in a very positive way — varied, memorable, and a nice change from the standard hotel offering.
