Best place to be in Nida

As experienced travellers in Europe, we not want to be with all the tourists but we wanted to be on the water and near enough to enjoy the town and sites. The hotel was perfect, comfortable, family atmosphere. Bountiful breakfast and personalized service. We had a balconey to the water and enjoyed the short walk to town, but also direct access to beautiful paths along the water and through forests. We were overwhelmed with the natural beauty, the clean and seemingly endless ocean beach, the huge dunes and great hiking possibilities - all close by. It more than fulfilled our long-awaited vacation hopes.

A nice guesthouse

This guesthouse is pretty nice. It is situated very close to the Curonian Lagoon and the bike path. The guesthouse is located north of Nida centre and it takes a least 20 minutes to walk to the harbour/"centre" in Nida. The owner was very friendly but spoke only a little english. There were a lot of Russian people at the guesthouse. The breakfast was okey, nothing special. I stayed in room category C which means you stay in a room with attached bathroom in the owners house. Bikes are availible for rent for a smaller amount. You can eat dinner at the hotel.
