Very spacious, comfortable and plenty of activities for the kids. The garden is also fantastic for the kids to explore a bit in the woods. Great stay, would happily stay again.
Clean and comfortable stay. House had everything we needed and a great relaxing space to unwind after our days exploring Cairngorms and vicinity. Would highly recommend.
Great property for a family. Loads of room and everything you could need. Amazing garden to play or relax in.Nethybridge is beautiful with river walks and a great local shop, with the mountains a short drive away.
We had a wonderful weekend staying at this beautiful property. The location was stunning and wonderfully quiet, and the house itself was perfect. Lovely and cosy, but also offering a games room which was a big hit with the little ones! Would definitely recommend, great communication with owners who were very helpful and fantastic value for money - we hope to return this year!
Lovely property beautiful location remote and peaceful lovely walks on doorstep good village shop close to lots of lovely activities we had a wonderful visit
Amazing property for families. Kids loved exploring the woods and building dens within the property. Outdoor living at it’s best. House itself is brilliant, kids loved the games room and the house has plenty if space.
This house was perfect for our group of nine friends on a winter climbing holiday. It was warm, very comfortable and was probably the best-equipped house I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for our large (and hungry) group, including a very good coffee machine and plenty of large pans and roasting trays. We also appreciated the excellent Sonos sound system in several of the rooms. The location was quiet and we saw a red squirrel in the garden a few times.I would recommend this property to anyone and will definitely book it again next time we visit the Cairngorm region.
A luxurious pad in the Abernethy forest which I think is somewhat better and more luxurious than the photos on the listing suggest. There was 12 of us and space was no issue. Great kitchen and walks right out of the door into the huge Abernethy estate. One of the single beds could perhaps do with a mattress upgrade, but other than that, a top spot for a holiday.
We were a large family group, and really enjoyed our stay at Lyn and Michael's beautiful home. It is super clean, with good facilities and full of warmth and character. Some of the beds could have been more comfortable, and may need to be updated. The really well-maintained wrap around garden is the best feature of the house in our opinion, while our kids loved the game room! Michael and Lyn make every effort to welcome guests and address any needs. They were very understanding when we misplaced the keys (which we thankfully later found!). I have no reservations at all in recommending this lovely home for a large group!
We booked Glenview for our family holiday this year and it was fantastic. The house is absolutely lovely, large, spacious and very well appointed, with pretty much everything you could think of - a games room, with large TV and huge selection of kids toys and board games, a lovely large sitting room with books, comfy sofas and a real wood fire ( included in the price), and a well- equipped, large kitchen. The bedrooms were all great too. The surrounding garden has a treehouse, and several shelters in the woods around the edge, a lovely lawn area, and a patio with outdoor seating. Our children, and our grandchildren, loved it. There are loads of forest walks on the doorstep, and a shop and cafe in the village 5 minutes walk away. We went hill climbing, walking and canoeing in the the beautiful surrounding landscape, as well as spending time just relaxing and resting. Lyn was so helpful and the house was lovely and clean. Can't recommend enough.
We had the best Christmas ever in a wonderful house. It was so spacious and warm. It was immaculately clean on our arrival and the garden is beautiful. I would definitely stay there again
Great place, palatial! The weather was perfect and the host was brilliant at responding to questions. Two good sized bathrooms, large bedrooms and having a games room as well as a lounge was a huge plus for our teenagers. Great walks from the doorstop, lovely community (enjoyed the fire-brand New Years Evening procession).
Stayed with my family and could not fault our few days away. Lovely house everything you need. Will definitely be back and recommend it to all our friends.
Very well equipped, comfortable and clean family friendly property. The location is excellent. Accessible to some fantastic trails for walking or cycling on. I would highly recommend this to property.
The house was spacious and well equipped for our family group. We especially liked the large living areas, the games room and the garden grounds. The location was perfect, allowing cycle runs and walks from the door. The possibilities are endless.Communication with our host was excellent and he was very helpful with information and suggestions for cycle routes in the area suitable for our age range.
