Sierra Woods Lodge

Sierra Woods Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Great place in the trees. Beautiful! Room was good. Just no counter space in the bathroom. Small. Could be different in other rooms. It was hot while we were there. So not having air conditioning in the room was rough. Hard to sleep. Even with windows open. Then we could hear the Highway. It would be better during cooler months. Having the restaurant on premises was very nice. And good food."

Lakefront Lodge w/Dock, Wood Fireplace, Kayaks & Modern Kitchen

10/10 Excellent
"Everything about the property was on point. Kitchen and gas BBQ as we like to cook accommodated all needs. Coffee bar was on point for whatever you needs were. Most importantly the outdoors exceeded out 2 boys 16 and 19 and their 2 cousins' boy/girl 15 and 16 with the outdoor activities. Paddleboard, Kayak, canoe and good fishing with plenty of other outdoor activities. We also brought are 11-year-old lab. She swam in the lake, the 1st time in over a year and liked to roll in the meadow!! We had our boat at Scotts Flat reservoir 20 minutes away. We were on the water 4 different days wakeboarding, wake surfing and tubing!! Spent 1 day at the Yuba River swimming and fly fishing!! we caught 15 fish mostly little ones, but it is always fun on a fly rod!! The river was only 15 minutes from the house. Town is right there but did not go in, spent out free time cooking and the lodge. Great time and looking to rebook for next year!!"

"Our stay was wonderful. Everything had a personal touch and was welcoming and clean. The area was peaceful and the view is beautifully surrounded by trees. The house slept 8 of us comfortably. 3 bathrooms made getting ready easy and the washer and dryer was a great extra touch. AC worked great and there were throw blankets available. The kitchen was stocked with nice extras like coffee, tea, waters, and cereal/oatmeal. There were a lot of games to play and a full game room downstairs. The house is everything you see in the pictures. Highly recommend!"
