"Excellent welcome by Ollie, thank you. Decent breakfast and helpful staff. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Toilets near reception not clean and not helped by hole in ceiling but were being cleaned early next day. Hot water very very slow coming through both in toilets mentioned above and in our own bathroom. Our bathroom door did not close properly-this was a significant issue for us and I mentioned it at reception when leaving. Swimming pool was excellent as were car parking arrangements. Thank you."

"Room and general areas were clean but a little TLC would have benefitted places such as skirting boards, cupboards, grout and windows/sills. Car park is unlit and very poor surface, Very difficult to walk up from there to hotel in the evening. Staff were very helpful."

"On first view the guest house looked a little tired but the room was clean, the owner very kind and helpful and the proximity to our destination ( New Vic Theatre) was excellent. We didn't use tge breakfast option."
