Large, clean room, secure parking, friendly, helpful staff, lovely breakfast. We stayed a night before doing a bike ride the next day. Only downside was the bathroom door was very sticky, safer not to shut it! And the shower head probably needs replacing but otherwise a comfortable stay and would definitely stay again

The rooms have a lovely old world luxury. The staff are also extremely welcoming. Reception was particularly helpful and went above and beyond to find me a quiet and charming room. Outstanding 'gem' in the heart of Newmarket.
