Some bits of the decor need updating (which is planned) but still a relaxing and comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well equipped. The food is excellent and well presented. Would definitely recommend it."

The room was very comfortable and well equipped….even a little bottle of fresh milk for our tea and coffee, plus a few cookies for us. There was also water available in small bottles in the fridge. The breakfasts were excellent, fresh fruit and squeezed orange juice! A great selection every day!! The little village had a co-op fully stocked, art store and more across from the station. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to take the train into Whitby……We’ll be back some day…..😊"
