"This hotel was amazing! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. They made check-in smooth and welcoming. "In a word: flawless. The staff was always friendly and helpful; the room was lovely; the bar and restaurant were clean and attractively decorated. We loved the lavish breakfast buffet (included). The hotel was recommended by friends as a good place to stay in "normal Rome," away from the tourist centers, and it is that, yet it's a nice walk (less than 30 minutes) to the Borghese Gallery and the huge park containing it, and a short Uber ride to the Vatican, St Peter's and other major tourist sites."

"Room clean. Called ahead to ensure the pool was open, and upon check-in, the pool was closed and would not give us a refund to go to a different hotel with a pool. AC would not work."
