Don’t Book - Not Available

Booked 3 months ago. Money taken. Heard nothing from the host despite several attempts to contact them. Vrbo also attempted. Was cancelled on with 30mins to go. Stranded in Nottingham without a place to stay. Don’t book.

Stayed at different property than advertised

Don’t know what the property was like that I booked as the day before I was due to go, the host changed where we were due to stay. There had been no communication previously and I had to phone Vrbo to find out what was going on. I was given another property in central Nottingham which was quite frankly appalling. I was not given in advance the code or instructions to remove the parking bollard so had to pay in a car park 10 min walk away. Eventually got a call from the host with the code and instructions. The property itself was not in an area we wanted to stay in and was in poor condition. There was no toilet seat in one of the en-suite bathrooms and the TV didn’t work. This is clearly a property hired out to contractors or students. It wasn’t worth the money I paid for the original house and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else.

Wir haben drei Nächte in dem Apartment von Nicolas verbracht. Nachdem wir anfangs nichts von ihm gehört haben, hat der Check In dann doch geklappt.Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet, die Küche ist neu mit großem Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, die beiden Schlafzimmer sind schlicht, aber schön und mit gutem Betten ausgestattet. Es gab keine Gläser, Nicolas hat noch am gleichen Tag uns die Gläser vorbeigebracht, sehr hilfsbereit. Leider entspricht der Außenbereich überhaupt nicht dem Foto, der ist verwahrlost, voller Unkraut, der Holz-Zaun kaputt und Tisch und Stühle alt und marode. Hier muss dringend etwas getan werden, mit diesem alten Foto ist es irreführend. Lage ist völlig okay, man ist in 30 Minuten zu Fuß in Nottingham.
