I appreciate the heated bathroom but my experience was marred by several issues. Our room, accommodating three people, only had one pair of slippers and a robe. Furthermore, the bathroom was out of bath soap, realising we had to call up housekeeping then discovered the phone was also not working! The internet connectivity was poor, constantly kicking us out. Despite having a coffee machine, no capsules were provided. The hair dryer was also non-functional. To add to the discomfort, the pillows were flat and uncomfortably soft. Overall, a disappointing stay with multiple amenities not up to standard.

Great hotel, great location
Novotel is a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The wellness area was an added bonus. The only thing that could be improved was the fact that when we were in the spa area the towels were all out. Also, the floor was very slippery and you had to step carefully, so as to not slip.

Average hotel. Beds are incredibly comfortable for what seems like a slightly upper end hotel. The pool was ice cold and blowing air conditioner on full blast so kids couldn't swim for long. Disappointed by the pool and bed mostly. I mean Novotel, spend some money and buy proper memory foam pillows. Who doesn't have good pillows in a hotel? Breakfast was nice and hotel has decent value for it's location but I'd avoid this hotel if you find a comparable price and location!

The battle of the elevators
I'm amazed that this attractive property was the least favorite hotel of my multi city stay in Germany. It started immediately with the elevator security and it never stopped. Once I even had to use the stairs to get to the breakfast room. I inquired with the staff about how the elevator security worked on multiple occasions and received conflicting information, though that of course could have been a language issue. I could never figure them out and tried many different things. My room's bedding was not comfortable to me. I finally got the room temperature comfortable by turning the climate control completely off. The room safe would not close and I didn't bother asking the staff about it since it was only 2 nights. But, the swimming pool and fitness center were very pleasant and well equipped.

It’s a lovely place The staff was friendly and informative. Within easy walking distance to many locales including the Christmas markets. My granddaughter, my daughter-in-law and I had a wonderful time in Nuremberg. Even got to see my grandson who is stationed in army nearby. Would highly recommend

Room was spacious and was well designed. The pool was adequate for a simple swim, but not long enough for lap swimmers. There was a queue for both check-in and check-out. The staff behind the desk were cold and efficient.

Central location near Old Town. Room was lovely and spacious. Bar staff really lovely and attentive. Reception staff a bot cool. Parking safe and reasonable. Swimming pool out of action - staff suggested we walk to sister hotel in rain!

Newer hotel, nice, clean, and modern. Close to the old town and train station so no nead for a car. The only downside is that the add-on costs (breakfast, parking) felt excessive when compared to other hotels we stayed in in Germany.

The Novotel hotel is a great hotel just steps away from the Hauptbahnhof and Frauentor of old Nürnberg. One of our favorite amenities was the pool and saunas. The pool was very cold, but felt good after a summer day of sightseeing around the Alt Stadt. The sauna was a great way to relax after a cold dip in the pool.

The room was comfortable and very clean. The bar area is nice and my friends who had kids with them were able to get food for them quickly. We did not eat in the hotel dining room because everyone wanted to explore the local restaurants and pastry and ice cream shops. The location was very convenient to Old Town and the train and shopping. Great indoor pool area!! The only complaint I have is there was no coffee or tea in my room at any time and I had to go into the dining area to get some. Not convenient if you are in pjs. There are drinks in the fridge that you are charged for and there were coffee cups, a hot water kettle, but no coffee or tea!
